she understood the assignment.. she was in the same position Sasha Velour was in s9.. Sasha had no bottom placements but had fewer wins and Shae was the more “natural” winner just like Sapphira, so she had to do something to truly standout in the finale

Nymphia also has the “representation matters” people rioting for her as well as well as extremely powerful corporations and heads of state. If anything, Sapphira (the nobody from Philly) was in the Sasha position, not the other way around.
I agree so much! I also think Sasha and Nymphia are both very cerebral queens who naturally care a lot about adding their own unique twists to things which is what creates exciting drag. It's how we push drag further and so important for a winner to be able to do!
