When her ex-husband sacrificed family for the sake of his career, it was the final nail in the conjugal coffin and left Mimi as a single mom with the task of providing for her family. @@why12333321 Who is going to tell this poor dude that Drag Race is known to be 1. a very heavily-edited reality TV show, 2. very often rigged on who they want to win, and 3. has a lot of manufactured/inorganic drama? I just hope to remind you to have the right expectations and take this more as a fun semi-competition than a serious one. Plane Jane knows how to do TV, and she's there to stir things up and make things interesting and dramatic. It's not really "沒品" lol. The producers introduced a twist in the form of a voting system for the contestants to play and she just simply played it, just like Naomi Smalls voting for Manila Luzon out of the competition because Manila was the strongest in her All Stars season.
I genuinely think Nymphia can win, but I really hope Taiwanese fans who are first-time audiences to Drag Race really do not take this show too seriously to the point of sending hate to the other queens lol. It's really not that serious. Some queens go in really knowing how to do TV and make things interesting and unpredictable. They're not necessarily bad people.
Please just have the right expectations is all I'm saying. Yes it's a "competition", but it's also mostly for entertainment. It is already well-known that producers will go out of their way to manufacture tension/situations so that the queens will crack under pressure, make questionable edits etc. Just keep that in mind.

she's the first east asian queen on the show who, in my opinion, is embraced by both her culture and cultural community as well as drag and queer communities. it broke my heart every season with an east asian queen who talked about not being able to share this part of them with their families. in particular i remember kimchi so vividly talking about how her mom doesn't even know she does drag. and she's famous! nymphia is making history.
and kim chi’s mom only found out after kim sent her some of her prize money from S8 which is crazy considering how popular kim was at the time but it just goes to show how much people can truly separate themselves from something to keep it more private

This mini documentary does a great job of making Nymphia a relatable person. I’m Mexican, so being queer was much harder for me as well. I also butt heads with my mother to the same degree as Nymphia. However, she still supports me in everything and has fully accepted me for being queer and my eclectic personality. This was so beautiful and relatable, and only makes me respect Nymphia even more.

感覺的出來其實他很怕失去媽媽，但那是媽媽想要的（安樂死）所以他也只能支持，但那種情緒自己沒有辦法消化或處理才會對媽媽態度比較衝，但在生日上的致詞就有提到做夢夢到那天到來時他有多害怕。外人看也許覺得對自己家人不該如此，但他們的相處起來比起家人更像相識多年的朋友，會有看不順眼的地方也會爭吵，但在吵過之後感情如故或越吵越好，而如果他們的相處模式本就如此的話其實就沒有他人可置喙的餘地，每個人對於家庭、朋友、愛人之間都有獨一無二的相處模式。這也是誰來晚餐想展示給觀眾的不同面向吧。

@@joe720325 如果你不是他們的家人你如何斷定是媽媽有錢他們才不走？如果實際上是孩子賺錢自己去國外讀書甚至養母親呢？我們看到的都是片面的，因為不知道事情的全面而妄下定論在我看來有點太過狹隘。也許小時候是真的靠家人養但誰不是這樣？而且養小孩我覺得是每個母親、家人會做的事情，那對他們是種責任，即使孩子大了依然怕孩子辛苦而有些寵溺也是人之常情。就你的言論我覺得太過苛刻，也如我上面所說不是因為不符合你的社會觀感就可以把自己那種無聊想法加諸在別人身上。在我看來他們是很相愛的一家人，也許方法不對但也不是外人可以隨便說嘴的。
再多說一點，即使真的是家裡有錢那也是他們家族努力來的，假如最後媽媽真的如計畫那樣離開最後的財產也是屬於他們家庭的，那也都是人家應得的，你根本也不知道他們在家庭中扮演什麼角色做出什麼付出，光一句話就抹殺掉別人的一切，並不是所有關係都依附在有利可圖的前提下，難道我們不離開原生家庭都是因為家裡有錢？還是說出這句話的你是已這樣的心態對自己的家庭呢？畢竟人的想法和說出口的話都是以自己的價值觀去影響的。

尤其看到畫臉京劇臉譜表演，更莫名流淚。
過去對變裝皇后，因不瞭解，只是認為陰陽怪氣的人，雖然都瞭解過去中華文化中有很多男扮女的概念，不過僅限於台上表演。
經過nymphia,奪冠。及公視的播放誰來晚餐後，我變得很喜歡看變裝皇后。
能做自己，也表演出藝術。
也不被框架住：變裝帶有黃色成份。
這樣的變裝，是表演藝術成份，做出自己的概念刷進我腦袋後，完全不覺得變裝有些動作是帶有性暗示，反而更享受變裝後，對方能更自由做自己的nymphia.真的謝謝nymphia, 及咪咪。

其實滿能理解leo這個反應的，我媽跟咪咪的感覺很像，她也常常跟我說她覺得人不用活這麼久什麼的，感覺就是很糟我寧願他不要跟我說。
