In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Watching your videos has got me motivated to go out and do some dumpster diving and curbside scavenging of my own! Not for scrappity scrap scrap, but rather for some goody goody goodies that I can use, give away, or donate!
Careful with glass and needles . wear gloves and steel toe boots.
@@afaketwo Everything I do will be from ground level. I am too old and out of shape to be climbing into dumpsters. I always use the proper gloves and other equipment when I dumpster dive. Safety first!

Need to get yourself a winch up on some roll bars across the cab, that can be used to help pull stuff out from deep inside dumpsters or assist with picking extra fridges up to the top of a full load!

Hey, I seen that metal wagon. My 8 year old Grandson and I picked one up curbside. He assembled it. I bought new wheels at Harbor Freight for $8.99 each. Used it todaybto haul what would have been 7 trips from the car to the house. Right up the ramp to the back door!

I take a cordless angle grinder and a couple of other cutting tools when I go out scrapping. Chopping down those aluminum chairs and tables saves some space for more stuff. I picked up a fridge with he door removed and used it as a bin for all the poles and pieces I gathered & just pushed it off the truck at the scrapyard. Saved a lot of time.
