Mike I'm an old lady who takes care of two older people. My parents 😂. There is not much excitement in my life that does not include a doctor. When I see your videos and listen to all the silly things you say and do it makes me very happy. Thanks for sharing your life with me.
Thank you ma'am for caring for your family ❤️
I'm right there with you lady, taking care of my mama. Mike brings me a lot of happiness too. He and his wife are so great. I love when I get a notification that he's uploaded a video. Just can't wait to watch it.😂
He's just a really nice person and I couldn't agree more with you on how he puts a smile on our faces doesn't matter how down I can be feeling half hour or so with Mike and I'm a lot more cheerful so yes I aswell as you say thank you Mike 😊
Old Lady Scavenger Club... 💥👊💥
It must be a lot of us "old lady's" out here watching lol. I'm sure he don't mind as long as we all get along and watch. Take care Samantha! & you keep rocking, Mike!
Those yellow webbing would sell like crazy to the off road guys to use as vehicle recovery straps 😮
Everyone in agriculture and heavy equipment he could have made some big money.
beat me to it the crane guys cant because of dates and such but not only 4x guys but also tow companies would buy them, if i was you i would go get all the 2" and 3" straps i could get and sell them for cheap
No he would rather get 50 cents worth of copper lol
Yellow straps plus the red endless loops those are crazy in price for that size.
CZcams money makes creators think differently.
Is it just me or does Mike make dumpster diving look like fun? And when he finds something cool and/or new ,make you feel like a kid on Christmas? Oh, and curbsiding too? Awesome video, as usual, Mike. You never disappoint. Much love to you and Dottie. ❤❤
It is fun, its a rush of adrenaline especially when you find something good.
Except for the smell and dumpster juice. Can't. Just can't.
@becreative2420
They don't all stink too high heaven but .😊
You see what he finds and a lot of stuff he don’t care about if it’s not scrap metal
He sure does make it INTERTAINING ORIGHT O right
Those slings are more worth than the scrap including your car Mike 😊
Yep
Dottie is priceless and has helped Mike quit his job and go from a renter to a homeowner.
I’m 80 year old widow, I’m not capable of doing much work anymore. That’s why I love to watch Mike.
❤❤❤
Crazy what these places just chuck into the trash… those huge straps are so expensive! Strappity strap strap 😂
I can’t explain why I love watching your videos. My kids think it’s bizarre I know so much about scrapping 🤣
All those straps are worth a lot more money than all the scrap that you can load on your truck just saying.
NICE!! I agree with all of you…the amount of WASTE is shocking. And so sad on so many levels. But MTS saved the day once more and made a HUGE dent in their plans to just keep on filling the landfills and then digging out more land to use as landfills. Love to you and yours Mike! ❤Thanks for the ride along! Dottie is such a wonderful “old” gal, too! She knows she’s loved!! ❤ And I hope all of you guys have a great day! Do something kind. The ripple effect is incredible! 🙂✌🏼🫶🏼
OH WOW, those straps are money! I would of loaded down Dottie with all I could. can't believe what these places throw away! Crazy! Great video as always, stay safe out there
You only see scrap, I see loads of good stuff to make things with! Good video Mike!
I hope you got every one of those slings, those could be resold for a lot more than many truckloads of scrap.
Agreed! So much $$ left behind there.
Those huge straps might sell to tow/recovery businesses. What a great run.
Big scraps, big straps, big cash! 😂
Thanks for taking us along. Stay safe out there!
They have an expiration date. So do chains.
He lft them in the dumpster
@@TheFullmetalwhiteso what? Exp date is for food u noob :) U think chains get old and go bad, its the amount of use that determine that not a date. Straps same think + sunligh, but u dont have straps out in the sun for baking... I have worked with stuff like his all my life, vhaibs can last a life time if not used wrong, straps u have to change regulary by the amount of use and visibly wear and tear.
@@turji yes they they get old and go bad. That's why they have dates on them. In the trucking and rigging industry it's a safety thing. Chains have a life span and must be changed every so many years. They get stretched and fatigued. Ask a crane operator if he will put a 10k load on a five year sling and see what he says. Ask a truck driver what the DOT fine is for out dated chains. I'm assuming the reason they got tossed in the trash is because they where in a retail store and expired. No reason you could sell them at a flea market toa bunch of rednecks though.
The waste that you find Mike just blows my mind. Glad you take the time to make a difference by keeping it out of landfills.
Dottie and Mike thanks for taking us along on the scavenger hunt. God Bless.❤❤❤
One of his favorite sayings use your knees
Why do I find this so easy to watch? The dirt, the dust, the juices…yuck. Yet I’m enjoying your channel. Thank you for being so carefree!
Great haul! It’s not what you’re finding that’s interesting, but the hunt for whatever is out there. You’re a master at keeping us interested! Love your adventures. Also, you make saving the planet one piece of scrap at a time, very rewarding.
What I like the most about you is: others would leave the nuts, bolts, screws, etc., because they feel that it’s beneath them, not worth the trouble etc. Whereas, you take it all! It tells me that you are dedicated to your job, nothing is beneath you, it’s worth your time and effort to make sure not much of anything is left behind!
That’s dedication in my book! You don’t see that effort in today’s entitled generation!
You and your wife are extremely dedicated. You both have worked very hard for what you’ve accomplished this far in your lives!!
God Bless both of you!! 💯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💯👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯
I hope you get it all Mike! Stay Safe!
Tube tvs usually have a pound or two of copper in them depending on size, definitely would’ve grabbed that
I could watch you all week on the scavenger for scrap 😂
Wow Mike! I hope you know someone else who dumpster dives so they can get some of those slings! Great job! I thought i saw a motor next to grill in the dump with the grill? Love my Saturday with You mike! Scrappity scrap! ❤❤❤
This was an an amazing amount of great stuff!!! You do have a nose for valuable treasure. It’s tragic the amount of product companies just toss in the trash. No wonder things cost so much. Hope this haul brings big cash!!
He said in a video before, that he checks 200-300 dumpsters in a night, (which blows me away) in order to find what he does in the videos. If you have seen old videos, where he is on the skateboard, it looks like he's in an industrial area where there are a lot of dumpsters close together. I imagine since he keeps checking them, that is why he doesn't bother on a lot of them to dig down deep, when he does find good items on top. He's amazing, to me. And, yes, he is so knowledgeable about what he fines.
You should of seen the waste going on here in castle rock Co before I started poking fun at some companies and how their waste helped pay for my house. Now they at least seem to be tossing less.
Ill buy some of the slings Mike. I'll cover the shipping and your time for packaging let me know what you gotta have for them.
Amazing!! Those yellow straps would sell themselves. Thanks for taking us along.
Hell yeah MTS!!!! What a haul! Great session. Have a great day! ☮️ ✌️
Mike i have been following you for a long time. Others i have seen look in a dumpster and go " im not digging for that" and Mike is like " i hope i dont get stuck...again"
5:50 Been a long time since I heard an old CRT TV lose its vacuum... thanks for the nostalgia trip. Should have ripped the deflection coils off, that's copper right there!
I used to dumpster dive when my kids were young and watching your videos brings back memories
Mike those yellow straps were money in the bank for you, should have taken everyone of them. Good show, you make things interesting.
Those slings make great tow ropes.
Man I just crushed the scavenging today 2 rifle scopes great big Bowie knife, massive ac unit that goes on top of a trailer a huge bottle of marking chalk for chalk line not even open, this giant pile of cable I couldn’t hardly even lift it,thanks so much for all the inspiration Mike you are a true American superhero. After watching Mike I just don’t even care I pull up and jump right in even right in front of a sheriff sitting there today I just don’t care I’m trying to be more like Mike
The scrap gods are with you that day!
The Prospecting for Dumpster Gold. Love it, I used to be a Superintendent for a large property management outfit. Their condo complexes had numerous dumpsters. I can't even begin to tell you the depths of Awesome I enjoyed Diving them. Jewelry, Crystal, Brand new clothes with the tags still on them. Art, Electronics. Furniture It was Incredible.
Awesome as always Mr. Scavenger! We appreciate all you do to keep all this awesomeness out of the landfill! I was getting worried as the are conditioner pile got lower and lower, but you figured out how to get the last ones out! You are the man!
Those Jackson door closers retail for 600-800 apiece. Awesome find.
Wild video, that open top with all the straps in it was a gold mine.
If each subscriber shares MTS with 5 or more people, he could hit a MILLION subscribers! Let’s do it!
Mike it doesn’t matter what your scavenging even if it’s the old sCrap I still love watching you do your stuff .
You're right when you said the copper runs around the tube of the TV.
The big red or orange strap is worth a lot also. You should have got all of those straps. They have awesome resale value.
HI Mike great video great scores what people throw away brand new never ever used they throw away there money. and always so much cardboard and so much wood crates wood fine and good pallets people pay people for them to reuse and recycle and people burn them during the fall and winter as fire wood great videos al of time bro stay safe you got a good work out today..
Those big straps will sell really well Mike, you should go back and get them. Great video brother you always put out good content
When the hero music starts a playing, you know it’s a good episode
If you only realized that Mike is barely scratching the surface of what's out there being trashed. Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot throw stuff away that would freak you out. I've seen it..just hurts knowing that nobody can take it. Thanks Mike and Dottie for working so hard for us fans.
Tow truck companies loves those straps they will sell quick . Heavy wreckers use the bigger ones.😊
Welcome back Mr. Mike from your Philly fan. I was missing your great videos. Keep um coming. 🤗👍💖
Mike yes those yellow straps would bring you enough $ to put on deposit on a newer Dotty truck.
I have a couple of the heavy ones that were used in a boat yard to pick up some boats out of the water.
Go back and get all the straps and go make money.
Nice haul of those copper radiators.
That was definitely different. What a find with those panels. Those are serious scrap. Super run Mike. I was glued to the screen.
Mike you always make it happen, you're the best! 😉
Those slings are worth a lot of money
Yeah like two Dottie's worth of trucks.
even if they are expired they can be used for many many different purposes
Yeah, Dottie brings you a lot of lovely work home. I bet the aluminium is the winner this evening.
That big grey roll of “strap” that you saw is a roll of protective sheath made of kevlar to protect the straps from getting cut when lifting something with a sharp edge
The yoke on the back of that picture tube on that old TV, had about a pound and a half, maybe 2 lb of number 2 copper in that thing.
Those straps will have an expiration date. So if a federal inspector catches them being used or if there is an accident using one, the fines would be crazy. So in the end, it's cheaper to pitch them and buy up to date straps. There was also a giant red sling you walked over that probably costs as much as a whole box of the yellow ones.
The Scrap God's bless you Mike
As always Mike finds the good stuff. Will never get tired of your videos you're always entertaining no matter how you pick up scrap. I wished that they would have curbside scrap in my area.
They left all the secrets on the white boards!😊
'Open Top, Open Top, What You Got?' Lots of stuff! 8-)
You are a very fortunate scrapper. Wow!!! The things you find are amazing.
Scrap and stuff 🤙👍🍺
Mike if you take a sawsaw and cut the ends of those radiators youll get top dollar for them clean 😊😊 those are rooftop a/c radiation
Now I'm gonna be singing, "little box, little box of scra-aps" to the tune of Little Shop Of Horrors all day...
Great to see you getting big score again, after all you do all the graft. Greetings from (🇬🇧)
Mike made me laugh. He said there's nothing but trash in here.
Okay is it from what I remember aluminum scrap put in the truck let's go Mike and his inventory control
WOW, WHAT A SUPER FIND MIKE 👏 😊! YOU ARE AWESOME ❤😊!!
That magnet broom is a convenient tool. Lots of smalls this video. Keep up the awesome work Mike!
The cone on TV is where the copper is
Hallo Grüße Aus Deutschland sehe Dich Gerne finde Dich Klasse mach weiter So 👍👍👍👍
Gotta go back for the rest of those yellow slings Mike. Missing out on some big bucks.
Mike, you ever run into the yellow straps again take all of them and I mean all of them. I can sale them for ya and I'm willing to come pick them up in Texas. That's big money man. You need a furnace to melt the copper, brass and aluminum into inguts, you get more at the scrap yard. LOVE the videos keep getting that scrap wild man.
Big straps...Big Straps!!! Lots of stuff!
You need to get all those Guardian Slings, their is stacks of cash there😊😊
The orange strap is worth 10 of the yellow ones. It'd be worth your time to go get it.
Mikes gonna make bank on those radiators 😮💰💰💰
When he came out the 1st dive, those radiators were gone!
@virginiabrundage5700 they were in the back of the truck when he was loading up the white boards/extruded aluminum.
Thanks for the awesome entertainment!!!
I stop everything to watch your videos great work

Those rolls of danger and or caution tape would have been a good item to sale on FB marketplace especially with people decorating their homes for Halloween 🎃 👻.
That cool box that was clear was a baby incubator for premie
Mike…… I’ve often wondered why you don’t park Dotti closer to the dumpsters? Why throw the scrap 25 feet and miss the truck? Park next to the dumpsters and just drop things in the bed. I love your videos and enjoy the excitement right along with you!
Es verdad es como un niño con juguetes nuevos como sea el maestro me saca de todo contecto rutinario me encanta un abrazo.para ud y muchas bendiciones a todos
Those orange Kevlar slings you stepped on can run several thousand dollars each.
Hey those huge radiator things can be used as solar water heaters spray paint them black hook them up into one large loop and you have a solar water heater!
I'm Always excited to see what you find. 🎉
CAN NOT BELIEVE WHAT PEOPLE PUT IN DUMPSTERS
It's always a good day when you see a video from Mike. Great job 👏👍. Love from Niagara Falls Canada ♥️🇨🇦
If you had an eBay store the money you could make on them slings is insane. I know I’d buy some for sure I could use a few of them small ones
Mike you were trying to make the new Live, Laugh, Love! Big Straps, Big Scraps, Big Cash. Coin it!
Man those yellow Straps were HUGE many uses for em.
Watch your head!!
Those giant aluminum radiators were a great find. Up here they are huge $$$$$'s at the scrapyard.
@07:17, those are sewing machine motor clutches, the foot pedal engages or disengages them to drive the needlework.
As a kid my dad set me up with tools to disassemble a coke machine in 1964, I was 5 coming on 6. I broke it down, separated screws, nuts, bolts, brackets, etc. I called them pocket parts, still to this day. Use them for all manner of things. Never understood throwing the like away.
Howdy Mike
Hey whats up Mike, that CRL stuff is for mounting Glass doors, its ftom CR Lawrence mostly aluminum and some are stainless 💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻
Always amazed at what people throw away. oh well.
That was really fun and your really funny...thanks mike😊😊😊
