KLEINWALSERTAL - Mountain Bike Tour - 30km 750hm Baad - Melköde

This video shows an excellent biketour in the Austrian Kleinwalseretal. It goes from Gaestehaus Ott directly uphill into the beautifull mountain scenery below the Walmendinger Horn. The first height meters are hard, especially with cold legs. From there the tour follows the upper "Panoramaweg" with stunning views into the Kleinwalser valley. After the "Heuberg" - lift, the track goes doen very steep in the direction of Ifen and then towards Melköde over nice tracks. Be aware that it can be crowded here. At Melköde, try a cool drink or a yoghurt. As alternative, you can eat your sandwiches with great views on the waterfall on one site and the flat valley. Here you also can view the Ifen rocks, which might be your next hiking tour. After this break, you go back the same way to Waldele and via the Parsenn skilift to the river Bärgunt. Follow the river upstream and enjoy the Austrian wooden bridge before heading back to Baad.
