Another great example of how versatile the 79 Series Landcruiser is in terms of setting up for overlanding. In addition to some great protection and light options, this vehicle has a MITS Alloy Canopy on the rear which has been really well kitted out with all of the bells and whistles in terms of water tanks, electrics and kitchen set-up.
The mounting of the AX27 to this canopy is pretty straightforward, and this customer also opted for the outstanding 270 XT MAX Awning.

How did you mount the tent to the MITs alloy multi rack
Hi Kyle, if you take a look at 3:43 in the video you can just see that we mounted 40*22 uni-strut channel across the rack and then mounted the tent to those using the provided fitment brackets.
I love your awning and your roof topper, but not together. I reckon your awning would go better with a skycamp 3.0. roof top tent. Yours would be great if you could access it from the side. I just don't reckon packing up the awning before bed is a good thing.

The tent can be accessed from both side and the rear, it comes with a ladder mounted already at the rear and another one that can be mounted to either side as required.
Why don't run 35s on rig like 79 series utes. Chopped, extended, with tray and canopy. In my ISUZU d-max I, have no problem with 33s. I use to used it for touring and wheeling as well, but with good quality suspension as well as upper and lower arm controls, steering dampener, good quality (res) shocks etc. Never done a CV
