@@paulmiskell3988 look where they are dude. Every rural area I've ever been in is lax on ohv's on the roads, even highways. There's more dirt road in that remote village than paved. Does it make any sense at all to create a life threatening situation out of a minor licensing violation?

One of the best Police vs. Dirt bike chases I have seen. I enjoy these videos as a retired cop, I NEVER chased a motor cycle or dirt bike. Too dangerous for the rider and public and not much reward. Not too mention, I was one of those kids that enjoyed a good chase and I never forgot that I was one of those kids when younger.

Been there done that but at the moment I did not know police was chasing me as I had carburetor problems on my road legal WR450 dirt bike with engine stalling and had just been blocking the traffic in mid rush hour and when I got the engine started and did give full throttle for a while to get over a long and steep bridge. (lucky I did as just before the top I run out of gas as the carburetor had failed and emptied the entire gas tank by dumping it trough the overflow hose on ground...) I was just coasting and had started pushing the bike to a petrol station 100m away when the police came with an undercover Turbo Subaru Impreza and game me a speeding ticket, they said they had been following me for a while ...

Being a dirtbike and streetbike rider for many years, and been chased by police a few times, the first thing I said to myself was, he's gonna run out of gasoline.
That sucks for him.
My guess is he got caught. He left his bike, so they got that, and he's not gonna be able to hide wearing that "flag" of a riding suit and helmet.
He shouldn't have stayed on the street as long as he did. He should have taken off across a field way earlier in the chase and into the woods and back tracked the way he came and he would have gotten away.

@@diogosoares3993 ---- I agree. I want to spend as little time as possible with the police, especially if I'm trying to ditch them. I don't want them getting a good description of me, what I'm wearing, what I'm driving or riding, I just want to lose them as quickly as possible.
But I also did those kinds of things living in Los Angeles. The most important thing to remember is you will never outrun a Motorola radio. When you have a rural town with one or two cops on duty it's not that hard to get away but they know who you are, most likely. In a city with 10,000 police officers, more than a dozen helicopters, it's a little more tricky to get away. One of my saving graces was living a mile from LAX airport and having easy access to a couple freeways that interchanged very close by. But the airport was perfect because they cannot get a helicopter clearance from the Control Tower at the airport to cross into airspace of the runways. Airlplanes, all large passenger and cargo jets taking off and landing every two or three minutes and four runways, that will hold up a helicopter for a minute or two which gives you enough time to escape from them. But that radio is so fast and you will have four or five cars coming from various directions so you better know every street, alley, parking lot, even parks, playgrounds, train tracks, knowing how the traffic signals are timed and having lots of friends in the neighborhood that you can pull into their driveway or backyard or garage.
But, none of those things will help if you don't have enough gasoline in your tank. LOL
But my situation was different. I was being chased for riding a dirtbike in the street, or for speeding on a strertbike but, I couldn't get pulled over for any reason because I usually had a gun and drugs on me and sometimes a warrant for my arrest. So, it was detrimental for my freedom to not get caught by the cops. I'm glad those days were long ago and I don't play like that anymore.
in my neck of woods (same country though) we have some noisy neighbors who calls Police on us every time we ride. heck i got visit from local PD for idling my 2 stroke in my own backyard and riding on our property...
@@ApocGuy --- people hate the sound of 2 stroke motors. I love the sound of 2 srroke motors. I could always get my dad pissed off just by starting my dirt bikes in the garage. He rode but only 4 strokes.
In those areas it’s quite hard for a police car to cover a lot of ground quickly and also try catch the riders and the riders can just kinda go almost everywhere.

I did the same but I was in the city. I was riding my 125 RM and I was chased by police who was riding a Harley. in the city was some traffic, I took a right turn and I arrived to a dead end.
there was a long stairs around 300 meters to the street. I simply went down the stairs and it was my first time doing this. I was cheered by a lot of students.
I never forget this moment. I love it. I was 14 yrs old.
I did escaped 3 more times and was never caught. Great memories

At 19 ish was minding my own business riding along rail tracks had to cross a road when an approaching cop decided to follow me down the train tracks because I dared to put my tires on the road.
Rather than wait for the cops to cite me for my infraction I ran.
My RM 125 kicked up a rooster tail of dust and 1 inch gravel 5 feet in the air.
I Remember looking over my shoulder to see the police light bar bouncing in and out of the cloud of dust and rocks I was kicking up.
In 1/4 mile I could do a hill climb and escape but he was closing .
I made it. He couldn't follow
But on my new trail I had to cross a 4 lane road. Fearing he had radio'd ahead I flew across the highway dodging uncomfortably close traffic. I parked my bike got rid of unique pink break shields and changed my helmet for the next few rides.
Always wondered what the cop told his chief when he returned with his cruiser all dented up needing a bath and a windshield
