AMH का मतलब है Anti-mullerian hormone, इससे Ovaries में egg की मात्रा पता चलता है। जन्म के साथ ही महिला के अण्डों की संख्या तय होती है जिसे primordial follicles कहा जाता है। Puberty तक पोहोचते हुए उनकी संख्या millions से lakhs की संख्या में होती है और जब तक इन eggs की संख्या 100 हो जाती है तब तक menopause आ जाता है। जब periods start होते है - Menarch और periods ख़तम होते है - Menopause यह सामान्यतः ३० साल की window रहती है और उसमे primordial follicles की संख्या तय होती है और इनको बढ़ा नहीं सकते। बस उसका retrival rate बढ़ा सकते है। हर साल 7 - 12% AMH का value कम होना जायज है।
Can low amh cause early menopause?
Menopause आते आते सारे eggs ख़तम हो जाते है और इस कारन periods बंद हो जाते है। Uterus यह काफी responsive organ है , जब ovary में egg बढ़ता है , तो उसके बढ़ने की वजह से hormones release होते है और उन hormones estradiol और progesterone के वजह से महिलाओ को periods आते है। अगर eggs ही नहीं है तो period नहीं है तो period भी नहीं होगा जिसे हम मीनोपॉज कहते है।
Low AMH में egg का reserve कम होता है और ये reserve कितने जल्दी ख़तम होगा यह बताना काफी मुश्किल होता है। पर एक बात तय है , महिलाये जिनका AMH काफी कम यनेके 1 से भी कम रहता है आमतौर पे , इनको 10- 12 साल में menopause आ जाता है। पर जिनका AMH 1 - 1.5 रहता है और जिसको low AMH कहा जाता है , उसके बारेमें हम नहीं बता सकते की menopause कब होगा।
जब किसीका AMH low होता है तो body थोड़े hints दे देती है। अगर आपके periods cycle धीरे धीरे कम होते जा रहा है मतलब पहले 28 दिन का था और अब 22 दिन का हो रहा है, उसका मतलब है शायद AMH कम हो रहा है। पर कब मीनोपॉज हो इसके बारेमें डॉक्टर्स नहीं बता सकते। काफी बार low AMH genetic causes के वजहसे भी होता है जिसमे early Menopause होने के सम्भावनाये होती है जिसको POI कहा जाता है Premature Ovarian Insufficiency ।
अगर आपको Low AMH है तो डॉक्टर की सलाह ले ताकि समय पे आप सही कदम ले सके , इसका इलाज medical management की मदत से हो सकता है Low AMH को लेके घबराने की जरुरत नहीं है ।
