Following the release of their IR-X pedal, Friedman’s IR-D stompbox takes up the gauntlet of the IR-X’s powerful architecture and imbues it with formidable flexibility to elevate your tone crafting to exhilarating heights. The IR-D's dual-tube design, versatile DI/IR capabilities, and detailed MIDI control stand make it an all-in-one powerhouse to seamlessly morph from the studio to the stage. Sweetwater’s titan of tone, Mitch Gallagher, puts the IR-D to the test. Check it out!

holy cow, imagine having a IR-X and a IR-D set up for a super big stereo rig!
What's the difference?
@@boimesa8190 The toan.
I'll find out - about to join that club!
@@ericvinson4628 oh? are you getting both?
@@bassyey It's spelled "TOAHAN"
Been looking forward to hearing this pre amp. Sounds great!
That Heritage is beautiful!
Great explanation from Mitch as always.
That Rivera in the back is sweet! The Friedman looks nice too :P
Finally! Comparison against the IR-X, please!
That Heritage. 😍
A beautiful sounding box
Sounds great!
I finally got an IR-X and now they drop this.
I can see Mesa going this direction in the future or sooner 🤔 I hope they do at least.
Anyone know if he’s going to make a JCM 800 type or a Steve Stevens model??
I was asking question to Friedman today….i woke up thinking I was gonna buy the IR-x….then I heard about this.
I’d prefer this. Has a lot of character.
4 flavours of Malcolm.
Oh wow ANOTHER Ir cab
I would love an IRX. But you don’t ship to South Africa and we don’t have a local distributor…
Buy one off reverb
What voltage are the tubes running at, tho’? 🤔
250V to 270V just like the head!
@@politoleo Where does it say that?
@@kierenmoore3236 in the IR-X presentation video from Dave Friedman
What voltage is it running at?internally
Same as the head, 250V to 270V
... what's voltaic versatility ?
So it's like the Orange TS....where you can go straight to a cab without a power amp?
No. This is just taking care of preamp duties.... You're also going to need a power amp.
What does IR mean?
Impulse Response. For speaker modelling
Would sure like a single channel, a bit cheaper, version of this for recording at home.
That sounds like mud.
Sounds like something is missing
Sounds like a freidmen :(
Is that bad?
I wonder why it's called a Friedman then???
More junk you don’t need when all you need is lessons.
Sounds basically the same, just many knobs to turn to make me think that I’m making different sound effects
Emmmmm.. no
There's no sound effects outside of the ability to load IRs
