I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked this movie. I loved the Peter Sellers films and this is a throw back to that genre. It is what it is and it's delightful. The relationship between Mortdecai and his wife is so sweet. But the relationship between Mortdecai and Jock is priceless. There are worse ways to spend a couple of hours.
+JohnnyDeppSan Sometimes I think Johnny hesitates because his mind is throwing out all the dirty words he would say if he was talking to a friend or in a situation where he could get away with cursing. The slurred speech may be due to a lot of years of using drugs and alcohol. He is just amazing regardless of what's going on with him in his personal life. But it would be excellent to see him sort himself out and stop tempting death.

I think he goes on binges when he is not making a movie....the saddest part about it is that he is now approaching the years he will have to pay the piper for the life style he has found himself living. Health issues arise at his age from being a 3 pack a day smoker since 12 and drinking to the extent that he does when he binges and I don't know about the drugs, I just know he does them. I am actually concerned for his health now and am not looking forward to be having to hear about the health issues. I can only pray that he will be able to overcome considering he has been able to build such an incredible career and giving us all the entertainment that he has, I hope he can overcome even further. He needs to develop a good relationship with a "good" woman, however I don't think he will. He has just gone too far. Perhaps the women that truly love him such as his daughter and ex and Winona will be there for him once the health starts to fall.
Johnny is so good in acting.. it's so natural for him.. he enjoys it and has the best attitude towards any role he makes.. it's somehow therapeutic for his mind. He Is an introvert with a creative and intuitive mind so acting liberates his extrovert subconscious and make him keep the balance. He had to act..
"What is the purpose of your presence?" So many great comedic one liners in this film. "I have a fucking man servant!" It's phenomenal dry, witty, underrated humor.

Probably because it's a throwback of The Pink Panther remakes and spinoffs aren't really popular but you can't judge a movie immediately without actually watching it cuz once one person does that it rubs off on others and spreads I would love to see the movie even though it kinda ripped off one my favorite old movies

WITHOUT JD the movie wasn’t that much interesting. GP isn’t interesting! Sorry to say! The Colour of JD’s hair was a scoop! Lars Mikkelsen in a minor role is hardly not even worth talking about!
