As always, thanks for the videos. I recently got the pmdg 737-800, and have been spending the past several days learning and flying.
So I have a question Im hoping you can help with.
Today I was unable to activate the VNAV on the FCU panel. It would not activate. I checked all of my settings, verified there was no discontinuity in the flight plan, made sure ALT was set to lower altitude per STAR etc. But when I got to the T/D mark, nothing happened. So I ended up manually setting the descent via the V/S as well as I had to set the speed. Any idea what I may be missing and why the VNAV did not activate? Thanks.
Either you forgot to enter cruise altitude in the FMC, or another reason is if the first waypoint is turning left or right and it is less than 3nm away from the airplane then also can't arm VNAV.
@@FlyOverGames …. Thanks. Will make sure and check that on my next flight. Ive really enjoyed the Fenix A320, and it is a great aircraft, but Im really impressed with the PMDG 737. I might actually like it more than the a320.
