FULL LIST OF INGREDIENTS:
Serves: 4-6 Prep Time: 5 Mins. Cook Time: 20 Mins.
- 1 Lb or More Ground Beef
- 8 to 10 Lasagna Sheets (Do NOT purchase the oven ready kind.)
- 1 Shallot Diced
- 2 Tbsp Seasoned Salt
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- Mozzarella and/or Provolone Cheese Shredded or slices
- Parmesan Cheese (Garnish)
SAUCE:
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 to 2 Diced Shallots
- 2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- One 28oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
- Cream Cheese (Ricotta Substitute)
- Water or Beef Broth (Fill the 28oz can halfway)
- 1 to 2 Tbsp Seasoned Salt
- 1 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning (Added off camera)
- 1 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper (Optional)
- Fresh Oregano (Optional)
This was SOOOO GOOD I was singing dancing I didn't have cream cheese or ricotta on hand and used sour cream as I'm not a big ricotta fan either and it worked for the creamy blend. I added chicken sausage with ground turkey as well BUSSIN😋😋😋 I just realized now you cut your noodles ahead of time lol I did after but still this is on my rotation list of meals I'm even going to try different versions next. I plated this with garlic bread & salad cuz my boys never full THANK YOU A MILLION KEEP THE GREAT RECIPES COMING!! BUSY MOM OF 3 VERY GRATEFUL 🥰🥰🥰

I would cook the noodles right in the sauce. Add some extra water or beef broth & throw them in. One less pot to wash

First time cooking with Lasagna noodles! Amazing Added portobellos, spinach and bell peppers. Layered with cottage cheese, colby, mozzarella and sharp white cheddar

I made this and used Mezzetta Tomato Basil Sauce and cottage cheese instead of cream cheese and when I tell you everybody tore this up! They said I have to make it again next week. The best part is it was so dang quick to make with the jarred sauce!

I just subbed you yesterday because of your cornbread recipe, then I watched your mac/cheese recipe and I also cook mine in my 12" well seasoned cast iron skillet... AND now I see this lasagna!!! I love my cast iron because it gives those crunchies all around the outside and everybody wants those:) I edit to say that I've got 3 very well seasoned pans from my Mom who cared for them like nobody business! Did not have a lot of pans back in the day and what you had, you took good care of. I was blessed with these.
Well hello hunny and thank you so much for subscribing to my channel! When I was growing up, we used A LOT of cast iron skillets! My grandmother is still living and still uses the same ones from when I was a small child. It's truly the only type of cookware that I use as they are so durable like you said! You'll notice that it definitely my preference as well as my dutch oven which is cast iron but enameled! I can't wait for you to see other recipes on my channel and thank you for being here!

I loved that! I never make lasagna because it takes so long boiling up the noodles, laying them all out so they don't stick together, making the sauce, and trying to remember what to layer next...Your recipe ended all that difficulty!!!

So beautiful. I have been making this one. The first time I done left the tomatoe paste out by mistake, and it came out watery 😫 (AGAIN PEOPLE I MESSED UP NOT OUR BEAUTIFUL CHEF, YALL KNOW DEG ON WELL SHES A BEAST IN THE KITCHEN) but baby when I tell you the next 7 times I made it it was perfection *chefs kiss 😘🤌* the one thing I leave out is the meat I just prefer meatless lasagna. I said to my husband, I neeed to go to Home Goods because they have a good size skillet that's lightweight and has a see through top, I have some heavy pots and 2 beautiful old Le Crueset blue ones, but I'm always a threat to spill or drop them, so I'm getting me a new pot....and it's pretty cheap...😂
