  • One of Jordan Peterson's most famous and controversial quotes is that men need to be monsters, but under control monsters. This goes the same with being dangerous. A man that is not dangerous is weak, but you must have it under control.

That does not make sense, as you have heard JP saying. Peaceful men are not harmless , the definition of harmless means you do not have the capability, weapons, capacity etc … to “harm” like a slug unless you are a cabbage of course but you get the drift. A peaceful man is a man who has all of the above and more due to being highly intelligent ,fast , able to perform extremely complicated calculations of maths and physics subconsciously in a split second, but …. Does not use it to harm by his own peaceful free will. There is a big difference , you have to understand the basics of what those two words actually mean.

He understands people beyond what some are ready to be understood...that is why they are afraid of him. To others he is heaven sent, and I am sure of that. Sometimes the Lord sends an angel to earth to help us out in real time... It is really refreshing to hear him speak with such honesty and rawness. Grew up in a single mother household, absent father (and nothing against my mother at all, love her with all me heart and owe her my life), but you learn how difficult it can be to navigate life not being taught by your absent father how to be a man. 31, and it's taken me all that time to learn to 'man up', and to embrace masculinity and that there's nothing wrong with exerting masculinity - it's part of being a man.
There's nothing wrong with being disagreeable/upfront/confrontational and you have to be - it's part of your authority as a man to be just that; as you need to be so that correction and order is made where applicable in the circumstances.
As Dr Peterson sums it up - you've got to be capable of being dangerous. It's better than being weak. Being weak, especially as a man you'll be walked over and/or make poor decisions that a weak man makes.

Here: I studied hatred at the University (actually here in Denmark). I totally agree that hate is energy (I don't know the other) and that if your in a position to threaten someone you are more likely to get your way. I feel okay powerful and I'm single: what I wanted to say is that I think 3 factors combine to make you dangerous: physical strength, your group and your ability to harass other people (for instance if you are very wealthy, you are more able to threaten people and thereby more dangerous). I agree with all things said - and it was hate I studied (which is energy) not physical attributes and I know this doesn't come close to the truth as a lot of other things combine when estimating danger. I can only say, in regard to this, no - I only contemplate death. I wanted to say three things: 1) group 2) strength 3) bonding - there's nothing wooo wooo about this - I contemplate "a good life" to my next incarnations - it's all science - is it not? Then the level of bonding - I can't have it because it pisses me off (I said; hate is energy and without it we're not able to move a finger - only my mom is - I'm not)
