But the property is nestled in a naturally sheltered area without sturdy trees to protect the house from typhoons; so it is what it is. A practical structure.

Very nice! And great advice. Indeed plan ahead if you can acquire a lot or farm while you still have the disposable income the better so you have the money to partially develop the land (fencing, water supply,electricity, etc..) so by near retirement you can start on the house construction and it’s not going to be that burdensome. By the time you retire you enjoy your pension and you’re all done with construction konti na lang gastos.

Nag start lng kmi nung pandemic time na maghanap na agad ng murang lupa na magiging retirement home na nmin na mag asawa.Nakabili at sinimulan na agad ang pag develop ng lugar .Sinmulan muna ang paglilinis , pagppbakod at pagtatanim dahil ang nabilil nmin ay isang lupain na talagang walang katanim tanim,at sabay na din pagppgawa ng bahay.By that time na nag retire na husband ko kmi ay may bahay na.Sa panahong may mga blessings kmi na dumarating inilalagay din nmin sa tama na investment kaya may naibnta din kmi at nagamit sa pagbili at pag develop ng aming naging retirement home.Dahil kung hhntayin pa pag retire nya tsaka lng mghhanap at bibili sayang ang panahon.At salamat din sa iyo sa pag appreciate ng aming lugar at may nkita kng aral sa aming pinag post. The Windows should have removal 20 mm thick Marine Plywoods to be screwed/ bolted in front of window glasses as protection before typhoon will hit the area to avoid breakage of window glasses.

Wow, Ganda..farm house..ninyo MAAM & SIR...like ours den..on the process pa..80% done, but our area enclosure pader 9/10 feet closed steel gate..( for privacy & security kasi May solar dryer at rice mill..warehouse...at the back where our farm house located..facing our palayan..mahangin..@may malaking gazebo..& we’re planning to build a family size swimming pool for daily exercise, both us are mahilig sa halaman, fruits tress orchids kay misis , Ako sa mag alaga ng mga hayop,..gardening for organic vegies...THAT WILL BE OUR RETIREMENT PLACE...*THE FARM*...(a 4 km distance from our prime residence @the city).....sorry for sharing...
