  • Crested Butte is known as Colorado’s last great ski town, and for good reason!
Hands down it offers everything you’re looking for in the mountain living lifestyle, making it one of the most sought-after residential areas for skiers, mountain bikers, and those who simply enjoy beautiful mountain views, all without the commercialization found at other ski resorts.
You will be captivated both by this ski town’s laid back vibes, and its incredible backcountry.
Downtown Crested Butte is registered with the National Historic District preserving many of the buildings that were built in the 1800s, keeping the charm of an old mining town alive and well.
World class Restaurants, art galleries and boutique shops create a wonderful cultural center with a historic past. Getting around town is super easy, and most of the locals and visitors enjoy walking and biking everywhere they need to go. There is even a free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes between Elk Avenue, and the base area of Mount Crested Butte, as well as a free bus that runs down valley to Gunnison.
Just outside of town is the Robert Trent Jones. Jr. golf course at the Club at Crested Butte and thousands of miles of hiking and biking trails.
Crested Butte is surrounded by over 2 million acres of public land, so there is no shortage of things to do and see. And all of the seasons bring incredible views, from the snow covered peaks in the winter, to the wildflowers in the summer, to the breathtaking foliage each fall.
If you’re looking for a small and charming ski town with culture, community and amazing mountain views, Crested Butte is for you!
