  • CAN I SELL THIS FOR $1,100??? 🤔💸I guess we’re gonna find out! It feels illegal for my student loan payments to go from $90 to $1,100 without warning but oh well. Time to grind and #DoItWithHART! 😤💙#HARTPartner
Here is th full list of supplies + tools used for this MCM flip! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
    HART Orbital - walmrt.us/42Rm8lo
    HART Drill Driver walmrt.us/44flLBy
    HART Multi Tool - walmrt.us/49A7L74
    Here’s how I did it:
+ found this mid century modern solid maple buffet/bar cart at the thrift store for $25
+ gave it a good clean
+ removed hardware with my ‪@HARTTools‬ screwdriver
+ used a carbide scraper to remove most of the thick varnish
+ sanded off all the excess with my #HARTToolsUSA battery operated orbital sander
+ sanded the screw legs by putting them into my HART Drill/Driver
+ sanded the detailed top drawer with my #HART Multi-Tool (using the sander attachment!)
+ made a tan wash using 2:1 ratio of water to paint (be sure to use mineral or water based paint!)
+ sealed everything with water based polyurethane
    + spray painted hardware black
Ta-DAAA!!! Now... hopefully I can sell this bad boy for over $1,100 so I can pay my bills this month lol. What do you think? STAY TUNED!!! ✨💸❤️💙

Hi! I’m interested in starting to flip furniture to pay off bills and save up for a house down payment…could you talk about the different types of wood and how you know when you need to strip the wood or not…also oil based vs non…you said something about it making the wood darker…? Any good resources for this type of information? How do you pick which pieces to flip?

Just wondering what the paint and colour was you used for the paint wash. I'm stripping my maple table right now to do the same thing! Yours turned out great!

@@thefurnituredoctor what?!?! How can it jump so high? That is crazy. Did you call to find out why? Holy moly!
I am getting nervous because mine has been on income driven due to health issues. I hate to see what will happen when I resume work.

After watching "the furniture flipping teacher" start a whole channel, thank her followers for all their support and donations (which started off as supplies - paints, hardware, even TOOLS!! - that stuff can be expemsive and adds up but is absolutely needed) with the SOLE PURPOSE of paying off her $16,000 +/- srudent loan debt because they were having a hard time making the ends meet, her and her husband. Hence her chanmel's name....
Except when she finallu revealed to people the awesome news that her debt was all gone within a very short period, she ALSO announced she was also NOT going to be a teacher anymore......which just feels so wrong to me somehow....i suppose it just feels a bit shady, greedy, manupulative, untruthful, underhanded, grubby, dirty. Idk , exactly. I do know that the little voice in my gut is screamimg at me and so yeah, i think I'll pass on this channel
