Hope this makes sense:)
Min. 6:50 is hilarious 🤣
the teacher's revenge😂

"People watching this video on youtube are most likely in a discrete math class"
Me in a discrete math class: "He IS a sorcerer"
I, when I was introduced did not even know it was called that. My pre- high school days I was introduced to the concept of sets. I was just a novice drawing circles and labeling them, without knowing what the fuck I was doing. The teacher who was teaching me in primary school, did not know what the fuck she was doing either. Word man.
I was using an abacus in kindergarten without being told, that was what it was called. We learnt to divide the beads in hundreds, tens, and units. I did not know what the fuck I was doing.
Sooo😂 true. I am 🤣🤣🤣 searched quite a lot on the internet this is one of the best. Proved that you dont need fancy images to teach but passion! Thanks math sorcerer. 1 more suscriber 😁
Great respect to the math sorecerer. I was hired by an evil company to do finance after i studied maths but I lurk the deeps of the web to study mathematics in my spare time. and the math sorcerer is a priceless channel. love what this guy does. Hopefully i can make it so i can go back to studying math full time :'(. Even watching the beginner videos get me nostalgic of my start in mathematics.
Excellent !!!!
Its people like you who I wish to go to a bar and drink then casually bring up a math problem and start scribbling some proof on a napkin
Actually there was a UCLA mathematicians who got to do some LSD and knock out some advanced mathematics like nothing.
He claimed to be smarter under the influence.
what a good vibe in this clasroom. I wish professors will be more this and less angry.
That was my office actually lol, just hanging out
yes this vibe is what makes u wanna study , i find myself lucky to have come across this guy
The Math Sorcerer, I never knew professors can have their own offices. Wow. That is new to me. I love to see the layout of your office. I love to see professors' rooms that they use for researches, and see also their libraries.
I love seeing professors' offices, those at universities and homes.
When I was a kid, I used to stereotype all professors as old refined men in tweed suits and dixie bows, those old-schooled types with posh accents. I imagined their offices full of antique furnitures, big curtains with mothballs, libraries with dilapidating shelves, threadbare rugs, etc.
Like this example. czcams.com/video/4Yf2rnYeO9Y/video.html
I'm taking an online course in abstract algebra after not touching math for 5 years... your videos may be the one saving grace that helps me finally finish my math degree. Thank you so much
You are welcome!
This guy taught me something that I had to understand by watching more than 10 videos.amazing.
The distinction of "at most once" and "at least once" really helped me remember the difference. Thanks.
give this man a bigger whiteboard, jesus. good stuff!
haha wow this video, forgot about this one
Before this, I thought I was the only one to have noticed that.
Ever notice it is usually the math professor who lacks adequate resources the most interesting?
@@TheMathSorcerer , You rock plenty man. Nice tan too. My white soul brotha, alright.
@@TheMathSorcerer , We should donate to charity though. That is how I feel.
Watching this video as I am reviewing for my exam. I can't help but say "what a passionate teacher!"
Thx man
Thank you for making this very clear. The enthusiasm was amazing too. Made learning a blast.
Glad it helped!
This is the most math I have ever learned in 17 minutes. Felt like the absolute basics when you described it, but if you talked about these concepts to someone who doesn’t know math, they would look at you funny. Keep it up big dog. Don’t take naps
Naps are important though
Your students are VERY lucky to have a prof like you....
watching this in 2021 and its was so helpful thanks a lot l wish you were my teacher
You deserve the world and beyond man, I truly understood everything and actually got pissed off when the add appeared hahah. Thank you so much!!! Best math teacher ive ever encountered 💗💗
im doing discrete math homework but its online so I have no lectures and just a textbook lol. Thank you so much for this! your lecture style on the board makes it soooooo clear!
this is exactly the explanation i needed when i first hit the topic of functions at school. i was desperately searching for answers on "what the hell are these functions? what do they mean? w h y?" that made sense to me and literally nobody around was capable of creating a decent explanation. damn i'm happy i found your channel!
but still, why don't they explain the whole concept at schools tho?
Thank you, somehow made it to Abstract Algebra without fully understanding these terms. Great explanation!
You are welcome!
Same here lol
Also hope you passed. It is only going on the 3rd week for me .
Even as a non-native speaker I could understand the topic. Thank you, sir..
Loved this tut, you make learning math fun, interactive and intuitive. Thanks!
u just made my day better :)
I feel like I'm watching someone teach illegal math in a basement somewhere.
Lol
Lol
I wish this dude was my intro to analysis teach 😢
Lol this class was amazing for the first time I learnt understood and laughed, Thank you Kyle, Dylan and the Sorcerer great stuff
❤️
the only time i understand onto is when this man explains it... thank you
Finally made sense (former student and fan- currently at FSU - Olivia E !!)
Enjoyed watching this with Olivia
:)
I love the enthusiasm
Thx👍
Easily memorable and great explanation 🙏🏻
i love the aesthetics of the class
I come for the Maths, but I stay for the on the low Mobb Deep references.
hahahhhahahahaha
It feels like you guys went to the janitor's closet to do this video. 😄😄
Still love it.
i say i ditch my college and learn from u , it will be good for both mind and health, passionate and hilarious why dont u start distributing copies of urslef as private tutors arnd the world.
You made this so fun
thanks man, we had some good times that day, this was all pre coronavirus:) Fun times.
This was insanely helpful
24k views but 800 likes, like ayo its 24k gold education!
this guy is gold
Really nice to watch 👍🏻
Awesome video. BTW, is there a way to test whether a function onto using graphs, I mean like horizontal line test?
Great lecture! Really useful, thanks. 😅
i wanna be the kyle of the class
Haha Kyle rocks
I enjoyed this video, I learned a lot. Thanks!
Awesome good to hear!!
0:27 Dude, that thing jumpscared me 😂
I wish I was in his class
👍
i need help, is being bijective; mean that the function must be strictly monotonic and continuous over an interval.or just striclty monotonic without mentioning continuous???
and thank you
great vid, you look like a surfer jeff bezos
Injective: everything in CoDomain hit at most once. Surjective: at least once. Correct? If so that's a great way that you put it (4:52)
Wow, MS, you said the whole thing at (10:19) and more I should have waited.
yeah injective = at most once, surjective = at least once, so bijective = everything gets hit exactly once
Great!
he is so fun and adorable
:)
Dude from the series Chuck is a math Teacher
thank youu 🙏🏽
You’re welcome 😊
Awesome :)
so co-domain is always equal to Real numbers?
Come on man, I didn't know that you're so cool
damn i love this
What math class is this for?
Intro to proofs course
♥️♥️♥️
@9:05 I'm the guy on yt that's currently in a discrete math class lol
I'd pass precal if this was my lecturer
What a BOSS
👍
I think the domain should be the set of strictly positive real numbers R++ Min. 2:45.
The vibe is killing men,,,,I wish lecs wd be like this
0:27
0.:28 XD I laughed out loud here
Are you teaching mathematics in the janitor's closet?
Please teach all my classes math sorcerer
Woww
What level of Maths is this? Undergrad?
lucky students
Discrete mathematics..
Vocabulary lesson today.
Injective: one-to-one
Surjective: onto
How come you are using a SMALL board, while you are teaching maths to a classroom? You must be in a small room with a small board.
every person thinks about dropping the course watch the sorcerer
:-)
Is Kyle the teacher's pet?
another indian guy
table could be smaller mate
Jeff Bezos loves math huh
