Hi Jay, that LUN ID is ALU what servers see is HLU which you assign at the time of assigning the volume so you can put any value as per server compatibility.

Quick question here. Does thin lun show provisioned space for VM on vsphere or actual disk space?
I like your Video, however I noticed RG LUN is using ID as 0 which is reserved! If Lun ID is 0 then UNIX file systems will not be able to see the LUN
