Previously thought to be extinct, a massive creature attacks a deep-sea submersible, leaving it disabled and trapping the crew at the bottom of the Pacific. I love how the solution of shark movies never involves an aircraft carrier or anything practical like that. It always little submarines or in the case of Jaws, a little wooden boat.
Like A Grape In this a guy lied to them and told them he had informed the army of a couple different countries and that they were sending ships after the meg when really he planned to kill it himself and got killed as a result. The others realized this and realized the meg was heading towards a beach, so that’s why they went after it.

These movies are cool, but give people a bad perspective on sharks. Like in movies like the meg and jaws these sharks are just mindlessly killing people. If there really was a huge shark (and we didn’t kill it immediately) it would have to prey on larger animals such as whales, and would barely even notice us since it would have to waste its time eating thousands of us when it could just eat a whale. The movies are still fun to watch though, but just remember that sharks aren’t out to get you.
