thank you - the way he talks is close to the level of pain my impingement is givin me
Thank you
Thank you, this is very helpful.
My pain literally went from 8/10 to 2/10, this is THE best video I have EVER watched for any injury/ health related issue I’ve seen, and this is coming from an athlete/powerlifter/bodybuilder, who’s been injured many many times. This video is perfect.
We're so glad!
This is the ONLY VIDEO on CZcams that has helped my shoulder and created space to not rub in less than 1 week! I never comment on videos but thank you so much!
Took me 7 years to unlock a frozen encapsulated shoulder. Most jaw dropping, eye opening experience of my physical fitness journey. Taught me more than any expert thinks they know, having gone through it first hand.
Best of luck to you. One day at a time.
I’ve had a shoulder impingement for about a year now. Did months of PT very consistent with all the workouts. Did nothing for the pain. I’ve been doing these everyday since you posted it and incorporating trying to keep my shoulder in the correct position while training and it’s night and day difference. Thank you so much for this high quality content
Did you also have that stinging pain when going high with lateral raises? Im scared its a rotator cuff tear but its probably just impingement.
@@thermoplastischesaethylend1046 bro did it get cured
What's your status now?

Wow it's helped me too even though in convinced that it's not shoulder. My pain is in the back somewhere below my shoulder blade and also deep inside my arm (on the side) kind of where bicep connects to delt
The painted muscles helps to understand what’s happening when one moves the shoulders- wonderful tool for me ; so do not have to try figure out the Invisible movements of my muscles👏👏👏👏👌😊
Can you please explain
Shoulder pain for three years solved in 16 minutes. Muchas gracias🙏
Bless this guy
I've had many shoulder impingements over the past decade and I can usually get away with the average rotator cuff strength exercises. This past one lasted 4 weeks and it wasn't working. I tried you exercises yesterday, and today is the first day I woke up with no pain. Thanks so much!
This was way better than I expecting. Look forward to doing more of Up, Down, Forward Back, the Scap Depressions, and Lean Away Scoop.
You have so many nuances in detailing shoulder blades movements… but you do it so good. Congrats!
Your cause and resolution breakdown is outstanding, sir! Thank you
Bless this happy therapist; obviously so keen to help others🙏🥰🙏🥰
Just love how you show the anatomy and you can see how things work.
I’ve been coming back to this video multiple times per week, I have gotten a MRI and confirmed a torn labrum in my left shoulder due to a dislocation. This video reassures me that my winged scapular imbalances have most likely led to this due to the fact I was only 18 when it happened. Hoping doing these will fix my issue, and fix the root issue before considering surgery.
Thank you so much. I have had a very painful RHS shoulder impingment for 10 months, limited movement in my arm. Been trying to do Physio exercises but painful and no improvement. I did your first exercise for 4 days and my shoulder snapped back into the correct position. No joke. No pain, just a loud snapping sound and yaay no more excruciating pain getting dressed etc! So helpful to understand the mechanics otherwise posture is all wrong and exercises won't help. Truly life changing x
Seems so BS. You couldn't find anyone in 10 years for this problem and this guy is giving magic advice and you just discovered YT few months ago, wow!!
Pure BS!!
I have found the calisthenics lever exercise (with progression) to be very effective in correcting the problem😊
i did the exercise shown at 5.15....felt a popping sound and my shoulder got fixed...thanks a lot!
Love this, the explanation, the paint work, the commentary & the exercises. Thank you.
You're welcome!
Funny how i went to 9 physiotherapist and all of them missed that i probably have shoulder impingement but a youtube video helped me
Thanks God I found this video I have same problem and I have my next check up for me to decide to do the surgery..I tried the exercise and I feel better so I will do it again and again to see the results..Thank you🙏🙏
This is amazing. I followed along with the video and movements for my right shoulder have improved drastically already. I will definitely be using these exercises in the coming weeks. Legends!
I was worried that the injury would put me out of action. I even had an ultrasound earlier this week to learn more if possible.
This video actually changed my life. Two years of constant chronic pain in the shoulder. The pain was causing me to be depressed, I tried what felt like dozens of different exercises related to the scapula, traps and rotator cuffs. Who knew all I needed to do was imitate a penguin lmafaoo
Does the pain goes ?
Watching you for years . Another great video.
Hallelujah Man!!!!!!! For real! Your a hero❤
I’ve learned so much from this guy
These two guys had me cracking up all the while imparting wonderful, simple, easy-to-understand, and easy-to-utilize information. I had shoulder impringement two years ago and my physio got me back to about 85% ROM. But that's not enough for me. Yeah, I can do everything normal people my age can do. But I'm a former dancer. I want 100%! You've explained the musculature and bone structure so well that I was able to feel the structures moving as I did the exercises and now I finally understand what still needs to happen in my shoulder. Thanks guys! You RAWK!
We're so glad our content helps you!
Can’t wait to get started. These exercises look like exactly what I’ve been trying to find. All the other PT exercises aren’t working and I need to get back to training bjj pain free.
Update: started today. Tough work but already feeling some relief.
You're the best !
Thank you.
Appreciation guaranteed.
Fantastic video! Thank you so much! Many Blessings!
Awesome, love the painted on muscle visuals & the enthusiasm you put in too. Thanks.
Fantastic video - the body paint in particular was really helpful to see and understand what's going on underneath the skin. Thank you.
Thank you for this! Your channel is one of the best!
Thank you the great love ❤ and advice ! You are very patient !😊
Good illustrations. Makes it very easy to understand.
I went over the handle bars of my mountain bike on a 15ft long jump, worst case scenario ...landed on my head like a pogo stick. My head landed on the next jump that was hard as concrete ...I can still hear the sickening sound of my head crashing into the ground echoing through the woods. It blew open my C6-C7 disc ...then did severe damage to my right side Foramen (nerve openings between vertebrae) at C1-C3. I didnt know how bad it was and lived with it for 8 months until it went nuclear. First up was the C6-C7 fusion ...it worked. Next problem was the trapped nerves between C1-C3 ...it took 3 Neurosurgeons 4 years to find the damage. Meanwhile I suffered from what they call Cervicogenic Headaches with Occipital Neuralgia ...in plain English ...think Suicide Headache. Pain so strong and so deep ...the strongest Opioids could not touch the pain. Destroyed my sleep cycle, my life for 4 years. A simple "Foramanotomy" fixed the issue with about 95% success. It's just now that all of that combined has created constant and massive tension/trigger points in my neck/traps/rhomboids. Another bicycle accident didnt help, I hit the pavement at 30mph and to prevent my face from hitting I extended my Right arm to help me twist my body so I could land on my shoulder/back and not my face. All of this together ..."this right sided triangle of my shoulder girdle" is just out of whack and I get nerve pain deep in the shoulder as well as the pops and clicks. This video was made for me and helps give me hope. Thank you MoveU!
So welcome… what a crazy story! We’re so glad you’re alive!
Thank you …and again, the work you put into this matters, it is helping so many people who are in pain. @@MoveU
Dude...this was the best demonstration on rotator cuff I've seen. I did all the exercises while watching for the first time and feel the activation of my muscles around the scapula. Especially that one arm lean away and rotate. That feels amazing even though both shoulders rub together in there somewhere, so I go super slow.
Definitely gonna stick with this and do daily for a week or two and see what happens.
Any update?
this might be some of the best coaching ques/explanations ive ever seen. Quality content
Glad you think so!
Awesome…your very smart and wise…Thanks for the all the knowledge!
It's really helping.... Thanks
Shoulder issues for years. Will try this. Thanks 🙏

Wow! This is a gem! Thank you for this!
Genius! Thank you so much!
I followed along throughout the video and I feel fantastic! Thanks.🙏🏼
You're so welcome. Glad it was helpful!
Easily the best video I've come across on the topic, and I feel like I've watched all of them!
Not only is explanation concise and accessible, the amount of thought and work that has clearly gone into creating the video is brilliant. The artwork on the body must have taken forever, but it's soooooooo helpful.
As someone who's been struggling with an impingement for years and whose right shoulder seems to chronically be elevated 6 inches above normal, I thank you!
Will start the exercises and I hope they help.
Wishing you every success - you deserve it. 🙏

I'm also suffering shoulder pain since 2 weeks ago....
Thanks you so much 💗
Hi bro. Am a physiotherapist from India. Its a great explanation about scapula importance.. am a fan of you dude..
Superbly explained 👏
Thank you! Finally someone making sense. You're right I've tried all those other one's that merely just show you the exercises. But not how to correctly get into starting positions. Brings back memories from when I had cracked my scapula doing tree work with a 40' branch! The doctor kept me in a sling 3 weeks too long and boy was it painful to slowly unfreeze! Your advice is very specific and professional. Btw, weird is the new cool.
He is THE best!!! Brilliant
Thank you very much. That’s exactly what hurts me after pulling weights ❤
This was fabulous.
Excellent demonstrations and visuals! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
I’ve watched a tonne of these videos regarding impingement- this is the best one
It is. There was another good one, but his exercises unlock my shoulder and I can feel it moving and where it should be. Great info and will be back in a few weeks with update
Holy crap instant relief thank you so much
You are just wonderful!
SO GOOD!
Love your approach and style....male (pushing 65)
Very good coaching. Thankyou
Superb explanation
Great video,, thanks a ton!!!
These is great advice many thanks ❤❤❤❤❤
He's the man. Truly informative and takes the time for quality content.
Thank you!!!!
so refreshing to watch a video with real talk and not fairy bs. The explanation behind the anatomy was really helpful. Thank you guys.
No fairy BS here! More real talk videos coming up!
I mean it's kinda BS though. Shoulder impingement is an outdated theory, the "labrum tears and impingement are related" thing too. But the exercises are great nonetheless, especially because they help people move in ways that are forgotten about for years and decades in some. Essentially, your body just needs different kinds of movements from time to time to keep the ROM, mobility, stability, strength and muscle activation. That concept applies to basically everything related to posture (besides the anatomical variations) like anterior pelvic tilt, rounded back and so on. If you only move in one direction, your muscles that never get stretched will have a higher tone (without any actual structural changes though, it's all coming from more motor signals from the brain) and you will feel "tight" and "stiff" while the antagonists are deactivated more and more. Pain is of course multifactorial, but the "fix" or the easiest way to prevent or reduce the risk of any non-traumatic issues of your musculoskeletal system is just move more and move in all ways your body can move and get stronger and mobile in all ranges of motion.
its only bs because you gained your knowledge from a different source - im sure theres many physicians who will disagree with what you just said - anatomy at this point seems to be down to ones opinion - what works for you may not work for me. of course we need to move more that is fairly obvious. use it or lose it, movement is medicine. These few exercises were different to what ive been doing and they helped. so its not all bs
@@leerol1 Bro, I said that the exercises aren't bs, just the shoulder impingement explanation stuff. The research clearly says that what Charles Neer thought of with subacromial space being limited causing pain does not hold up and is outdated, that's not an opinion and those who still spread it just aren't up to date.
@@Max-fh7ij yes I’m sure the research that you’ve read clearly does show that. But you could just as easily find other research that doesn’t. If you keep up to date with the science of anatomy you’ll notice it constantly changes. But I’m definitely going to look into what you said. Thanks for info!
Nice exercise!! Help a lot !! Thanks🥳🥳
Good stuff! Thanks
Bro, this was money. Long time powerlifter and this is the first time I have seen this explained so intelligently. Can't wait to try these out. I will be a subscriber for life!
update: Have they helped?
Tremendously. I also found out that a huge part of my lack mobility was due to all the knots under and around my shoulder blade. @@jimb3093
This is great. Makes a lot of sense. Thanks to your model too 👍
This was a fantastic video
Holy $hit. Your video is one of the very first that seemed to target the shoulder blade. I've had frozen shoulder for seven months now. No one seemed to take me seriously when I said that my scapula seems tilted the wrong way. Can't wait to start these exercises. I like the no nonsense, straight forward approach. Thanks guys.
Have you continued? Any improvement?
Thankyu sir I immediately done these exercise the door frame in stead of bars its fixed my shoulder pain instantly Thankyu sir
You rock, thank you so much for the advice and exercises. Very motivating
Thanks for watching!
Great stuff
Thanks
Very demonstrative presentation & interestingly explained. Illustrative to give the biomechanics along with the exercises themselves!
Amazing!!!
Outstanding! 👍🏾
Fantástico. Thank you!
Wow, youre stretches are good, thank you so much.
You're welcome!
I like your technique’s, so I had to subscribed.
Thanks for the video
Welcome!
Congratulations, very good, very effective exercises.
Dude holy shit, i did a quick run of these at work just now and my shoulder already is feeling better. Gonna use these stretches and start some back muscle work outs with it.
Love it!
Safety first! Good work
Some great info in this video👍🏼
Whaaaat? This is great! Thank you! 💯
What a great idea to use body paint! Combined with the explaination, excellent,
Really worked instantly
I’m gonna start doing these exercises today. I’ve had this shoulder impingement that progressively got worse to the point where I would consistently feel it running down the middle of my bicep and also my back in certain movements. It almost feels like my arm wasn’t even connected to my body. I definitely came to the realization watching this video that I’ve been moving my shoulder wrong the entire time and the muscles and tendons stabilizing my shoulder were weaker as a consequence.
love it
I have watched sooo many of these videos and all were super poo, meaning didn't help at all. Been doing these regularly now for a few weeks and OMG! Finally was able to do wide grip push-ups again, not even a twinge!!
these feel so good..... not easy and im shakey when trying to hold them because certain muscles of mine are weak af but damn might be best scapula control exercises i've found in 4 months of trying everything on youtube... seriously though
You are the best 👌
OMG ! I love this video. You guys Awesome. I love how you broke everything down and you made it fun. I am eager to learn level two please let me know what the next level of exercises are. And keep the videos coming great job.
