I've never been more proud to see someone wrap a belt around a fighter than I was seeing Mark Coleman wrap the BMF Title around Holloway on UFC 300. The fact that Mark was there to begin with was a miracle in its own right, but his parents are alive because of his heroism (and his dog's, who unfortunately didn't make it), and I'll admit to getting a little misty eyed in that moment. Great list, MMA On Point!
I remember when his daughter was backstage for one of his fights and started crying when he lost, watching him console her was so wholesome and heroic. He's the one who just lost a fight in front of the whole world, but he's trying to make his girl feel better about it.
Technically, bam bam bigelow could have been on this list, he did have an mma fight (he got beat up by kimo leopoldo) and he actually saved three children from a fire
The only other "witness" was a post after the fact by a random motorist who happened to be friends with a bunch of MMA fighters on social media, what are the odds...
If you haven’t seen the video where Coleman is in the hospital, it’s VERY intense. He’s crying cuz he wasn’t able to save the dog. Absolutely heartbreaking
Give Mark Coleman a $300,000 fight of the night bonus. He fought alot of odds and saved his parents. And beat all the odds when he came through to make it to UFC 300! 🍻🙋
I got to see and meet Mark at a fairly recent LFA fight event, in Louisville, last month and he was not only super kind happily walking beyond the barriers to talk and meet people and do photos with all as well that came down from the stands to approach. Happy to meet a legend but also a hero now, in that, I got to shake his hand and say much respect! He was there alongside his guys Matt Brown and team as they were there to coach a fighter as Mark just sat nearby.
Mark Colman is and always will be my hero..anyone who saves a life, human or animal is my hero, most people go their entire lives and never make a positive difference in anyone's life, but those that do are heroes.
Better Help is terrible and goes against EU data protection laws - while being a therapy service!! It someone cant see how messed up that is i dont understand. You will confide in them and they will sell not only your basic info but much more. The more you tell them the more they have to sell to data collection and AI companies. BETTER HELP SUCKS
Mike Dragich is one of the coolest dudes I know, always humble and respectful every time I’ve seen or talked to him in the gym. In my opinion he should’ve got higher than top ten, he’s a fellow U.S. military veteran and put his life on the line for our country- that should have boosted him at at least into the top 5.
Seeing Mark put the belts on fighters at 300 was the highlight for me. Over the two all-time KOs. One of the sweetest moments this sport has ever produced
When I watched Mark Coleman that day, I got so choked up. Real man right there. But it's always awesome seeing a bad guy getting f@#ked up by MMA fighters.
I was in college when the Huerta/Texas Football player fight happened, completely forgot about that. MMA wasn't that mainstream yet, so that crossover of my 2 favorite sports at the time was wild.
What an inspiring video. I know you guys do a lot of different content, but the "Top 10" type videos are really enjoyable and the bread and butter of this channel. Cheers.
Damn that Brendan Shaub story gave me chills. Exact same thing happened to me at 18. Was right behind a head on, truck and a van, 140 and 100ks ish. Girl in the back seat, about 9, white dress covered in blood, none of it hers, yet literally unmarked, father alive but in a bad way yet recovered, mother… yeah he put it best. “Passed away” Insane. I almost feel like I’m that moment she must’ve spoken to something or someone and traded her life to keep that girl safe.
The Jon Jones incident happened the day off the UFC title fight with Mauricio Rua, not the day before He was in a park meditating when the couple got mugged, then later that day won the light heavyweight championship
13:50 thats a situation that he will never forget bless him for that! I normally heavily dislike him but after seeing this I will forgive have respect for him!
Good on Coleman for saving his family but we should definitely deduct some points considering he left the stove on which started the fire in the 1st place.
“Are you depressed?!
No, i’m stupid, i’m sorry”
That’s one of Perry’s finest lines lmao
Gold 😂
Totally a Mike Perry answer to ease that lady's worry. Gotta love him 😂
Brilliant!😂
What a dude. That story just makes me like him more.
Funny asf, happy to hear that story
"Derrick, what compelled you to go out into the flood and save people?"
"My balls was hot."
Best comment 😂😂😂
Comedy Gold 🥇
Lol. Nice. 🍻🙋
“I Understand” - Joe Rogan on the scene in Houston.
Heroes get remembered, legends never die.
The hammer telling that story brought me tears man. What a fucking legend and I pray the ufc makes sure the rest of his life is very comfortable.
Ya know doubt. 🍻🙋
Certified fucking badass
I have to fucking find it but he commented on one of my posts and I was honored.
@@chachogarsha6296How long ago was that?
No they (UFC) won't
Kevin Holland helping to stop a mass shooting at a restaurant takes the cake for me
“Are you depressed? No.. I’m stupid!” -Mike Perry ..incredible!
Honarable mention - Lee Murray for knocking out Tito Ortiz in a street fight
And checking the English Bank
Urban legend
I literally clicked on the video to say this😂
Well done, glad others thought the same

I tear up every time I'm reminded of how the hammer saved his family.
It's the dog not surviving that chokes me up

R.I.P. Hammer, you were the goodest boy.
@@hhtptaiHe's still alive...
@@MMAFightMagazinehammer is the dog not mark
Technically, bam bam bigelow could have been on this list, he did have an mma fight (he got beat up by kimo leopoldo) and he actually saved three children from a fire
Yea he did
Never knew this and seeing that name is a throwback, this is cool!
Man I cried so hard when I heard about marks story, his dog made the ultimate sacrifice for his family
Rip Hammer the goodest boy
Wow no mention of the paramedic by the name of Stipé Miochic
I think he is automatically an everyday hero since that's his job
I thought he was a firefighter
He is a firefighter but works as a paramedic for his dept
Stiopic*
This channel is so dismissive of Stipe and it disgusts me
The brendan schaub story is fkn heart wrenching. Poor kid trying to wake up their dead mother! 😢
That would crush me 😢
Honestly even though people making fun of him for being a terrible comedian and all I do have tremendous respect for what he did
I’ve heard sides of this story where Brendan wasn’t a hero lol. Look into it first idk all facts but I am sure I’ve heard the other side before.
The only other "witness" was a post after the fact by a random motorist who happened to be friends with a bunch of MMA fighters on social media, what are the odds...
@@Reaches4Grapes yeah I don’t buy it, seems like he pulled over to grab a quick pic and look heroic.
Imagine getting stopped by a professional ass kicker
I fear no man. I do fear guns and knives.
@@chachogarsha6296 you don't have to fear a man to get your shit clapped
Coleman's story is crazy the things one does with adrenaline is madness
Mirco Cro Cop. Need I say any more. The guy was hunting terrorists
The Mark Coleman story never fails to just start the waterworks
If you haven’t seen the video where Coleman is in the hospital, it’s VERY intense. He’s crying cuz he wasn’t able to save the dog. Absolutely heartbreaking
his voice sounds crazy too because of the smoke

My god. Actual heroes. I respect these people very much. Super humans
These people should get the

"ok guys lets take a break for one quick sec" a break. im 30 seconds in lad why would I need a break

Geography lesson for you guys, Croatia has no ocean access. Its Adriatic Sea!
Strictly speaking Croatia does have ocean access through the Adriatic and Med and Alboran seas and Gibraltar. It doesn't border the ocean.
ABSOLUTE MAD RESPECT for every one of these awesome human beings!
cain needs a mention for going after that monster
That florida man comment is the funniest thing ive ever seen
controversial opinion, but Cain Velasquez is a hero in my books.
100%

Mike perrys interview was so hilarious 😂😂 haha I’ll never forget that one
Thanks for the amazing video
Note on Phoenix Jones - It was found out to be that he was not in fact, a good person lol
Taking out the competition, the other competition being criminals 😂
That better health sponsor is a con can’t believe you take their money
Why not? People always pick money in these situation.
Always
Almost just cried wtf didn’t expect that from mma on point today lol
Banger! Love the feel good videos
I'm sure that was a tough edit, Luke, great job. And a great script as well, thanks, Alex!
Love that you made this video and covered all these stories! Especially Mark Coleman’s story

For as much shit as Brendan gets, he will always have all respect for what he did. What a hereo
Best video yet
Really cool to see a positive list on here.
Should give a shout to Stipe for his career as a fire fighter.

"I'm guessing a ten foot alligator is pretty goddamn big."
A ten foot long alligator is ten feet long. Hope that helps.
How the fuck did I never hear about Mike Perry accidentally hanging himself? I'm glad he's okay but that shit was hilarious.
Idk if there’s a story but Stipe is a firefighter. That’s a hero idk what you say
You should do mma fighters that had near death moments. Guys like BJ in the whirlpool, mark Coleman and the fire, etc
Brendan schaub definitely exaggerated his part in his heroic act. Thats what he does
And then hes tsking his shirt of and im like AHDHAHXHEGDHAHFHENDNEHD
Matt Serria. I’ve always liked the guy but what he did in that restaurant had me smiling for weeks
Good on Coleman for saving his family but we should definitely deduct some points considering he left the stove on which started the fire in the 1st place.
Bayliun calling the croatian Adriatic sea "an ocean" is the most american thing ever bro :D
have you guys done a (WHEN TRASH TALK GOES RIGHT) video yet?
Stipe is a hero just based on being a firefighter
No wonder Max wanted that BMF Coleman to strap that belt on him
Jon Jones and Matt Hughes are real life villains
I'm half way through, if Lightning Lee Murray is featured for sparking Tito , im rioting.
"SUE-ZA" ughhh you said it right the first time too.....
Honorable mention: Aussie mma fighter handles multiple street punks perfectly “ worth a search
Mike Perry is fucking nuts dude ahahaha
Schaub jumping and having to protect a child from seeing their dead mom must’ve been so hard and commendable for staying composed during that
