I feel your pain! We're having a really wet summer and slugs are making a meal of so many of my plants and they're disappearing overnight. Glad you're not giving up!
Sorry to hear about your struggles of planting I wrapped my raised beds with bird nettings to protect the seeds and young plants from being eaten by birds
Sleeping in. Haha. A distant memory. Actually, sleep, in general, is. I'm loving Lemongrass for my rather large gaps this year. I just ordered some more eggplant 🍆 watermelon 🍉 , mulberries amd sunflowers from online... past years, getting them shipped has been successful, 75% of the time... we shall see. Happy gardening! ❤

Side note: ever try peppermint? Peppermint essential oil on a cotton ball (as long as its kept dry) should deter the 🐇 🐰 naturally. My dog keeps them away for now.😅

@dshannon1038 I'm keeping the peppermint for myself, it's an extra chore I don't have energy for. Holding out for the 🐕 🙏🏽
I hope it all survives, Have you tried beer traps? I don't have much of an issue...but when I have they really work.
