Corn looks fab.
@@RobinGardens so good
Yeah my watermelon and corn was a no show . This garden season was not so good for our area . Well we have next season
4:48 my paste tomatoes aren’t doing super great this year. I’ve gotten a few but not many. 6:25 corn is looking great! 11:53 your peppers are looking great, productive. 23:30 celery looks great. I didn’t grow any this year. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Thanks Row
Well it seem you and I having the same issues in the Northeast . 😢 it’s been hard but none of the northeast Gardeners saying nothing lol but me and you so far 😂
Looks like they are having better luck. Even your plants looks better than some of mine 😅
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome we both suffer this season just love how the southern gardeners have so much to say lol 😂 they not like us lol 😂
I hope that it will be a long fall as well. Time was flying and I have a feeling that I just put my seedlings out yesterday and I'm not ready for a long winter. Enjoy those nice tomatoes 🍅 🍅🍅
Thank you, Blessings
So glad you posted this! I am craving basil, and I will definitely be trying pesto this week. Looks super 👌 👍
You're not gonna eat that, are you?
@chuckymota847 I'm chewing on one and it's not sweet, but still palatable. I'll cook the rest.
Welp, I hope they were good! My only concern would have been that they can get pretty tough and woody when heading to seed
@@chuckymota847 New shoots were tender. Just not as sweet.
Also that little hoop house just put two sticks at each end so it don’t wobbles or fall down it’s so easy to fix
Went out this morning and clean up the front yard after the storm also branches that fell out the trees
Just cleaned out the gutters, small branches around, not too bad compared to past storms.
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome yes quick clean up
can we use synthetic vinegar... plz reply 🙏
@rumachattopadhyay3475 I used store brand 5%acidity distilled vinegar. I believe the stronger acidity would work faster, and would need further dilution. Homemade vinegar would work, take longer to process.
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome Thank you very much for reply 🥰
how long did they live?
Couple months, spider mites
Glad to see you hoodie on and give us a tour . Great to see you on Kay live
@MICROFARMER4 thanks, good talking to you
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome yes glad to see you too
Awesome video and harvest. Thanks for sharing🧡🫶🏾
@@urbanbackyardcontainergardenin thank you!
First one here!!
I made pasta with basil pesto last week. Great minds think alike.
Glad you growing it and cleaning around the bed
Never grown asparagus. Got me thinking I can do it. Thank you for sharing 🧡
@urbanbackyardcontainergardenin put them on the edges, you'll need several dozen though...
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome Thank you 🙏🏿
Asparagus is such a treat in spring so it's good to treat the plants nicely 🌝🌱👍
Golden rod is good for you I made tincture out of some
@@MICROFARMER4 yup, that's the plan
Is golden rod also known as solidago or are those two separate things? 🤔
@@YouGrowRow yes, same. Different varieties of course
Wow! Enjoy
Or Connecticut beaches they have seaweed
@@MICROFARMER4 bring me some
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome lol 😂
If you come down to the city like orchard beach in the Bronx there seaweed there
That much is great for that 55 gallon barrel . If you get it right your garden going to love it
This barrel is 4 years old. I just keep weeding and rain watering. I don't use it often enough...
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome nice it’s time to start looking for a new one lol 😂 sun and temps it will become brittle.
Dammit
Nice! That should add some oomph to it. I have some screen that's supposed to be over my can of tea. It rained and the amount of larvae that came up was crazy. I just decided I making more of a soup instead a tea. 😂
@SWEETTHUMB that's pretty accurate with mine too 😅
❤
Beautiful. Congratulations on your harvest
Well glad you got it done
0:30 beautiful flowers 14:02 pretty view 14:21 gorgeous 18:09 nice spinach 22:47 corn 💃 39:00 basil 😋 Great tour!
Very nice video
@@soblezz thank you
The pink nasturtiums look very nice and the garden is still lush and green 👍🏼
Really beautiful video
I'm a sucker for compost videos. Trying to get the lid off of the bucket.. Many years from now, you'll need your grandkids to help you to open up your childproof medicine bottles. ^ ^
@@PeytonWind compost is a special kind of accomplishment
Welcome back! Hope you had an excellent vacation. 😊
@@YouGrowRow Thank you. It was great to finally feel a warm beach.
Beach chicken very nice video friend fullwatch 9:05
Are you in a long day onion zone like me? If so I love the Patterson for storage. I start in February. Squash look marvy.
@@RobinGardens Yes, long day. What's your seed source?
@@JoyoftheGardenandHome I've got them from both Pinetree and MI Gardener.
Great harvest 🌱👍🏼
Enjoy your personal best 😊 I bet it feels good. 👍🏾
Nice hsrvest
Very nice 👍🏿. Your harvest looks great 💚🐝🤗
Black gold!!😊
Thank you…very helpful…and inspiring😊
Great job 👏🏿. I turned my compost bin a few weeks ago. Hopefully I’ll have great compost. Thanks for sharing 🤗✅🐝
You did great, so knowledgeable ❣️
Cool beans!😊
I had a collection of 30 fig plants in pots here in Saint Louis (zone 6b/ now 7a). It was fun and addicting but I ended up scaling the work back by putting several varieties in the ground, but would still have to haul the others inside my basement over winter. The year before last I didn’t keep them wet enough inside or maybe some too wet for being dormant and lost about 10 of them. Then this past winter I just left them outside and covered them with a pile of grass and leaves and they all died when it got down to -15F. Meanwhile the ones in the ground keep coming back no problem. Now the problem is that some don’t start pushing out figlets until a little too late in the year, but as they get older and larger they do start pushing out a little earlier. From my experience, if they don’t have 3 months of warm weather the figs don’t ripen or they do but they are not very sweet.
@jeremybyington So much to consider. I prefer inground and maybe wrapping. I've failed multiple years with overwintering peppers in garage or basement. I just have to protect from voles/rabbits...
Beautiful sharing friend thumbs up good evening
Yes ross is the fig boss all the cuttings looks good
