The weirdest thing is as soon as I saw the video title and heard your introduction I knew it was probably going to be a loose inductor. We had a similar issue last week. It came in for 'No blacklight, Not charging after a screen replacement'.
We swapped the usual TriStar, replaced backlight diodes. Power it on, it worked great, but saw a wisp of smoke. And that same upper speaker amplifier and inductor was blown.
Had to remove it and dig out the fused board layers. Finally, I couldn't find another iPad that uses that same amp. All we could do is let the customer know.

    Great Alex.
Five years ago, before moving from Italy to CA, I worked for an Italian company that build special electronic equipments made for weigh food for feed cows. This scales was mounted directly on the big truck.
Part of the business was repair broken units.
After found and fix electronic problems, the final test was the vibration stress test. This test was performed by mount the repaired equipment on a special metal frame that has a little electrical motor, solid to that frame, that has an out-of-center mass on the shaft.
This motor create a strong vibration.
If the device under test survived, was ready to ship back

Some cables will charge if I force the cable a certain way, left and down. What's weird is not all charging ports work and some cables do nothing at all. I hope it's just the port on the iPad. Anyway these guys are the only people I would trust with my iPad!

Too clean of a Repair shop = a Shop not doing a lot of repairs. That should be a warning sign. Now, the shop shouldn't be disgusting, but it shouldn't be spotless. By trade, any decent repair person will have "surplus" stock available for parts. Those things need to be some where, and having it all locked up in a storage 2+ blocks away which is more money flying out the doors on real estate that is doing nothing but sitting is not a wise idea or investment.... Work/live smart.
