There are three kinds of people, one those who will criticize movies made by Rohit Shetty and other directors like him just to show they have good taste, are intellectual and above everyone. Second, are people who will go and watch a movie which does not make sense and are happy to spend two to three hours watching something that will take their mind off their daily routine. And the third are people who will watch any kind of movies and go on with their life even if the movie is not good because they know hard work was put into the movie.

Iam commenting very late but its so easy to hate on commercial film makers but rohit has always given films u can watch with family he never has vulgar item songs or cuss words in his films, so called art film overrated directors give so many flops and ruin the lives of many distributors who invest so much ,critics put them on extreme high but criticize directors who's theatres are always full n ppl actually watch these films n not on laptops. It's so simple not every single film is made for Oscar's. We need decent funny commercial films too. And rohit deserves respect for his good work 👏👏👏

46:06 he will not take an outsider actor/actress in his film in a lead role, outsiders cannot even just enter into his production house office for casting . BUT a nepotism product like Sara Ali Khan can just enter into his office, he will meet her personally and just by one request- " Rohit sir , my film kedarnath is in trouble please cast me in simmba " he will cast her in a leading role in big budget film without even an audition

Akansha Kapoor pretty much that’s how hypocritical double standard Bollywood biggies work, never liked any of his movies. The only movie which was reasonably fine was Chennai Express rest all are below mediocre and he needs big star for his average movies to pull big numbers but with COVID19 already progressing fast it will be interesting to see what will be fate of his upcoming masterpiece
