Coopers rock state forest located about 13 miles from Morgantown, West Virginia. This state forest claims to be one of the best place to see the fall colors in northern West Virginia. This year peak time of the fall foliage lies in between second and third weeks of October. With a short walking trail you can reach scenic overlook of the canyon which gives one of the best views at sunset.
