You grows it till it gets old and shoots flowers. After flowers pollinated naturally seeds are formed and you can harvest it. There is another way to multiply them is: First cut them short and eat them, leave the bottom part intact in soil. Give them water and fertilizer. The bottom part will give 2 - 3 shoots. Let it grow old and cut the shoots off, put it to ground and cover with soil. Of Cours you don't cover all part but leave the front end without soil covered. Root will come out from the position of the leaves. If you have a pond, you can make a floating bed and plant them on that, water will make them grow faster.
There is another kind of kangkong. It is pinkish color and grow exclusively on water. The taste is much better than the kangkong shown in this video.
