It always surprises me that there are so many random and short videos of Mr. Peterson on youtube, and he could have all these removed claiming copyright issues, especially since it contradicts with his online courses and all. But judging from the number of videos (mostly from different channels), I like to believe that Mr. Peterson lets all these videos of his lectures purposely stay on youtube, because he knows there are so many of us who would never really care about a self-improvement or self-help programme but can be easily click-baited into watching these short videos.
I hadn’t even heard of him till last month and now he has changed my life. Dr. Peterson is the hero the world needs, and badly.

I follow Jordan Peterson's own you tube channel. There his videos are not selectively edited clips, but rather the entire lecture. I find he is very logical and even, he talks about both sides of the coin objectively and scientifically. These clips are edited to create specific points. I feel these edits are trying to create a bias that is not a true representation of Mr. Peterson's work.

Be secure in yourself and you’ll get some pussy. Very simple. You don’t have to say you don’t need your life to be controlled by a woman in order to get women. I know your exact situation, pretty much on point (difference is that eveyone I knew was that way, not one true friend. the family full of lies and even when confronted decided to stay that way). But your life happens that way for a reason. You are stronger than you ever thought you could be. I would not exchange my life with anyone. Only when you think this all happens for nothing and that it will always remain the same, then you are caught and lost in it. The world starts in the mind.
Something is trying to hold you on a leash, to demoralize you so you submit and succumb. In truth that "thing" is afraid of you. Move forward. Learn about your soul, your fire within. Find the right mix between courage and caution. This is very important.

You just associated what P.A.W. said and associated it with all you don't comprehend and didn't look into. If you want a road that is hard and long and makes life a challenge, choose free spirituality. No fancy shmancy belief, but meditate and observe and learn. There is so much your eyes can't see, and that is why you live a tiny constricted life. I agree that there are women who simply choose to call themselves goddesses as soon as they hear it for the first time for their own reasons, and I agree it is bullshit, but your reaction was not right.

After all, when I declared that I will destroy the Matrix I got very interesting visits at night in my room. For me the Christ-story is just some means to lead people astray, to make them have belief in something external so they never discover the power within. But that's each his own I guess.
How do you intend to breach the gap you speak of?
Totally agree that what happens today is ill. So is our materialism and all that is connected to it. It must die.

You have to look at it differently. If you were in a cage and saw a person kicking a cat and automatically getting fed you would probably think "what's wrong with that person, this isn't right"...
So you go over and pick the cat up and the cat bites you. Soon, you are starving. You need food but every time you try to be respectful and nice, the cat bites you and you get nothing. If you want to live, which you eventually would, you'll learn to boot the cat and get your food.
Same goes with women. Decent dudes spend years sometimes treating women with "respect" and being kind to them. They might get to first base but eventually the pitcher even picks them off there. But hey being the observant creatures we are, we see other men scoring like a 5 on 3 power play against an empty net. These other men treat y'all like shit. They are the drummer with 5lbs of coke rolling out of his nose, the thug robbing the liquor store, the gang banger doing drive by's, the alcoholic wrecking and hurting people, the addict with no job. Chances are they are screwing at least one of your friends and yet you continue going back....
So what do you think men learn to do? That's right, they learn to kick the cat. Throw emotional attachment away and basically treat you like a place to keep our penis warm. And y'all reward it with sex and by chasing us. So guess what we keep doing because it works...

Usually art imitates life, so, according to the great Billy Crystal: "Women need a reason to have sex; men just need a place." What about trust and affection fulfillment? Competition in a relationship rather than collaboration?! Seems like an assured plan for separation.

Women dont reject men who are 'too nice' thats a cop out, its something men tell themselves so they dont have to take any responsibility for themselves and their behavior. There is always a valid reason why a woman rejects a men, lots of times it doesnt even have anything to do with the man she's rejecting. Sometimes women just arent interested. I know its a shock to men but women arent all out to trap a mate so she can squeeze out his kids.

He claims that what women want is a man who "bites" them occasionally (i.e. upsets them) so they can say "oh how wonderful I have something to "contend" with). HA HA. HA HA HA HA HA HA. HA HA HA HA. And furthermore HA. I'll leave to someone else to say if that is actually a good thing for couples. BUT AS FAR AS WHAT WOMEN OUT ARE OUT THERE ACTIVELY WANTING... THIS IS NOT EVEN 10,000 MILES NEAR THEIR RADAR SCREEN. To disprove me, point me to a dating profile where the woman puts this as a requirement. Or go and look at a married couple and point me to where the women appreciates when the man does this.

TBH it sounds like he's suggesting women seek out abusive men and abusive relationships while promoting the 'treat em mean, keep em keen' attitude which not only victim blames women but excuses men who treat women badly. Women who seek out those kinds of men and relationships have low self esteem and more often than not, all they know is abuse. People are creatures of habit and they subconsciously seek out the familiar in relationships. Considering that women are more likely than men to suffer abuse as both children and adults and have that abuse undermined, it makes sense that more women repeat the same patterns and end up with or chase after men who are abusive or 'bite' as Peterson suggests. Its not healthy and not something he should be promoting. I like Peterson but he hasnt got a clue about women and tbh I find his views on women to be quite dangerous considering the large demographic of young white males who watch his videos.

    • @ZackTheGiant
      @ZackTheGiant Před 6 lety +4

A perfect, Disney-esque relationship is something hollywood fixates on. But that's boring, isn't it. To contend, to disagree and try to understand one another and grow together, is what one should try to achieve. Relationships aren't for being happy. The 'biting' analogue is to represent this.
You do something someone doesn't like, and that someone is so comfortable with you (hopefully), that they 'bite'. That's a good thing. That's not only setting boundaries, but it can bring up resolution with your partner, for you can work together to understand why one would bite.
In the end, a broken relationship is truly living. To wish someone back or for everything to be better is to feel pain. That's true love. To feel pain for the loss of a loved one. You think being blissfully ignorant of someone's problems solve them?
No one wants to actively seek out negative reaction, emotions, or situations. No one wants to find dark things about their lover. But it's impossible to avoid them in a honest relationship. No human is that simple, where they will agree with everything you will do. Who the hell wants to appreciate a man showing negativity. But it's necessary for growth. The ones who don't understand this are the ones to be divorced. To give up, to leave, and not solve the issue. This a blanket statement, so there are going to be anecdotes.
'I know its a shock to men but women arent all out to trap a mate so she can squeeze out his kids.'
Squeeze out his kids? Is that how you see it? Having a child is a third of your life, the other third being your partner, and the last third your career (hopefully not in that order). You know how dangerous love is? People will kill one another for it. They would kill themselves. And sex? The skeletal muscles strain like carrying twice your weight, every pore of you has some sort of liquid coming out, and your heartbeat is having an attack. But, goddamn, isn't it fun. The human race would be wiped out if it wasn't.
Take in account that menstruation are caused by the proliferative phase: ovarian hormones are low and endometrium breaks down. Women literally have eggs decaying inside themselves if there is no sperm to fertilize the egg.
During childbirth, we all know that uterine contractions force the baby downward (labour). But that stretching of the cervix releases oxytocin from the posterior pituitary. The oxytocin, and this is an incredible rare example of positive feedback in human biology, stimulates the muscles of the uterus to contract even harder, stretching the cervix even more.
So don't ever fucking dismiss childbirth with your insult of a sentence. Oxytocin is not nicknamed 'the love hormone' by mistake. So go fuck yourselves, your wishy-washy ideals, and get some big boy pants. Grow the fuck up.

That word means nothing to women from what I have seen - they don't seem to reluctant to cancel the relationship you think you have with them in a fickle way.
