Its been over 10 years since I did my GCSEs. For anyone doing them now, don't worry and just do your best. Not ONE person has ever asked me about my GCSE's - they don't really matter in the real world.
@@HTS123RK well let’s see I live in Australia and I have my entire life so I know how our school system works and I’ve also seen British GCSE papers online and basically what you’re tested on in year 11 is part of Australia’s core curriculum in year 7 & 8 I’ve also seen documentaries where kids in British schools didn’t even know their timetables they were in year 11 and had no clue what 3x4 was
@@surgeon1016 ok and I’ve seen films where Australians r cave people living in the outback. Also GCSEs are just an extension of year 7 and 8 so you just go into each subject in more depth and learn more. Also yr7 and yr8 have much less content than yr10 and yr11. Your system is probably based off ours anyway
@@MoeezSalman-qk3ky not exactly a flex is it though - my point is that I enjoyed doing them came out with decent results. Had I said I just enjoyed them it sounds as if I sat done absolutely nothing and pissed my time away
Tbf they weren’t awful lol Did mine last year Started revision 5 weeks before my first exam Came out with a 9, a 7, 2 6s, 4 5s, and a 4 Obviously they aren’t spectacular but I got a 9 and 7 in what I’m doing at A-Level (3rd one didn’t need a GCSE) Maths and science were the 5s and 4 lmao

Honestly the British GCSE is essentially the equivalent of what we learn in year 7 & 8 in Australia
