Carbon was the first one I played and so that one is special to me. Most Wanted is pretty cool too.
Most wanted is a legendary game. Although I loved Carbon! Its a masterpiece. I did not know that there where 2 Most Wanted s in NFS series
Carbon was also the first one that i've played... and i loved these canyon races... even tho they were frustrating at the beginning and you had to try like 1.000 times to finish it... but it literally never tilted me or anything, i loved to keep on going and continue over and over again, after like 1.000 tries, when you finally finished that shit... it felt so fucking good, that you thought you're now able to beat anyone in that game x'D

@@yashdogra491 Even better with the true widescreen mod and the Modern Rockport graphics mod, which mostly takes away that piss yellow sheen from the game and implements some HD textures. Definitely the way to go in 2020.

The first game I played as a kid in my first computer was Hot pursuit 2 (2002). It was released on year I was born and its so special to me. I will never forget that game.

the only nfs which isnt easy s hell, fairly challenging at expert difficulty, more authentic driving experience, and one hell of a composed soundtrack. I believe the run was the best nfs ever
variety vlogs At one part I was into the Lamborghini Aventador. Kicked ass. Then I chose the Quattro which I hated in the city. That was until I took it on the highway, then she just flew. Then I got the Porsche 918 RSR and never looked back.

I loved Rivals the most. I don't really care about customisation, it's just about the pure enjoyment of racing/the look and feel of the game for me.

The cops in Rivals are deadly as hell, they share the same tactic in MW 2005 but they're much more stronger. They drive hypercars in higher heat levels and can equip deadly pursuit tech.
They're very hard to outrun and have a smart AI.

The Game Master 2035 I loved the spirit of trip across USA. Also, this game has my favorite QTE scene of all I have seen - the one with cops chasing protagonist in the alley.

NFS Underground 2, hands down deserves that #1 spot. I have never in my life spent so much time playing a racing game, I really fell in love withe that game when I was younger. Lets not forget about the Burnout series either.

Well you know, the whole Takedown System was ripped from Burnout and some people refer to NFS: MW 2010 as Burnout: Most Wanted
Did you really say "not much difference between the 2012 and the original most wanted"? There is a giant difference. Lack of story, lack of customization. The reboot is okay at best and has nothing against the original i suggest you do your research better before you make a video cause clearly you havent played the original ._. Smh
the only good thin mw 2012 did was the driving feel, and even that isnt really that much of an improvement from games like the run or pro street

Yeah 2005's always gonna be the best. The main reason UG2 was really good was cause of the customization. But everything else apart from that 2005 did better. I never stopped playing until my 360 died (Red Ring)

Most Wanted ‘05 and undercover were gimmies, but I really wish they would have thrown in The Run. The Run was probably my favorite next to MW05. It was beautiful, the online was always poppin’, and the sounds and feelings while driving were AWESOME.

Undercover was in a weird spot, it was a good game (on consoles, PC is just horrendous based on what I've played, not even close to what it was on consoles) that had some rather unique gameplay mechanics at the time, a pretty good set of cars, a great story, decent customisation, and that's about it. It's around the time that NFS started going downhill for me personally (don't get me wrong, Hot Pursuit (2010) is a good game and Most Wanted (2012) is a decent game, just no where near as good as pre-Hot-Pursuit games).
jakemichie97 yes, well... The PC version was very glitchy and often crashed. But aside of that it was great. The plot was good, the cars were great.

The version I played could have been some prototype or beta version that was leaked or whatever, but it's UI was absolutely nothing like what it was on PS2, the cars just looked broken with simple phong shading (no reflections like what Carbon and shit had years prior, just a simple little specular highlight from the sun or whatever), car physics was screwy, and crashed on me a couple times. Not 30 minutes and I gave up and deleted it.
I loved NFS: Underground :) I could play that for hours just customizing cars :p

I have too many NFS games to count but NFS Carbon still to this day with the new NFS release is still the best. My opinion of course but Carbon has full crew customization, amazing car mods and parts, very good story, and best of all a pretty big open world of Palmont City! OH and not to mention the cops in this game are actually insane when you reach about heat 4+.

Probably same. I’ve had very different experiences from the top 3 I’ve played so I don’t know if I could pick a favorite, but most wanted’s cop chases were ridiculously stupid fun. When I was bored I would get in my heaviest feeling fastest car and completely demolish the police department for 30 minutes. In that game the difficulty actually increased the longer you played and it felt higher stakes. Probably no other game made my heartbeat so consistently. Watching the replay of a cop car pirouetting over my car just missing me right after I slammed into it and double backed into a drift is still etched into my mind, and one of my favorite gaming memories ever.

Underground 2's vehicle customization was crazy, almost everything was changeable
Carbon's custumization possibilities went beyond Underground 2's.
Carbon also had the ability to drive to any race that was available unlike what the video claims was the first one. The customization was phenomenal! I never did get to play the game where I had ALL of them unlocked. has anyone done it withoout cheats/hacks?

NfS Most Wanted is easily my favorite. Finished it maybe 5 times. I knew the entire map off by heart.

Underground 2 should be one. Because it's EA heritage. MW is the more popular and selling now but Underground 2 started it all

I’ve played High Stakes (since 2002, my first NFS game), Underground 2 (probably shortly after it came out), Carbon (my most played) Prostreet (my personal favorite) and Hot Pursuit 3 2010 (my first PS3 game so it was special). Need for speed is probably my 2nd most played franchise after call of duty
Why didn't The Run get atleast an honorable mention.That game introduced a completely different style for career mode.

Most Wanted 2012 really fucked it up with the police chases - they were more annoying than fun. Hot Pursuit by Criterion was the best of the new NFS titles, but nothing beats NFS3 HP.

Speaking of annoying, I got busted for being a traffic jam that I didn't cause--it was a 2 traffic-car accident, and I kept honking my horn. The police didn't mind to that, as I was busted because I couldn't get out...that was the first time I got busted--and currently the only bust I don't deserve.

Carbon should be higher on the list for a reason, the last "classic" need for speed, before they start changing gameplay and got lost.

I remember this video got hacked back then.
I was shocked to see that NFS The Run is not there in the list. Even there are few things to do in that game, it had a good storyline and the game had real car damage physics, which is not there in other game. Playing other racing games is like playing with toy cars.
