Sorry I just have no sympathy for Claire, for her child yes, but anyone who sells their child for drug money is disgusting. Monsters in this story may not be real but there are very real people who have sold there children like this and it always sickens me. The way she died is very fitting.

Since the pandemic started, hearing the news all the time became a huge source of stress for me. I come to CZcams and watch videos about creepy and paranormal stuff to take my mind off the mayhem happening in the world. It's too bad a lot of the videos aren't nearly long enough, but I love the ones about bigfoot, extraterrestrial encounters, monsters and cryptids, etc. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so I enjoy stories about the wilderness, especially forests.
If you like lengthier stories check out CreepsMcPasta, Dr Creepen, and Lighthouse Horror. Those are all long stories. Some stories even as long as 3hr 30min. Dr Creepen says he purposely tries to make each story 2h as a minimum time, most being longer.

Who sells her baby to traffickers and is then shocked the child is harmed? What did Claire think would happen to her daughter?
At best these were sex traffickers, and in no plausible scenario would the kid be okay after seven years. How has her fiance forgiven this? How can her sister have accepted this? If they didn't know, was she planning on forcing her child to keep quiet after getting her back?
Claire's daughter doesn't even get a name, just a genetic connection to the woman who sold her into slavery. She must have been very young, but surely she had a name. Claire never says this name, only acknowledging her relationship to the girl in a possessive manner. As far as I'm concerned, she lost the right to call the girl her daughter when she sold her, as she had no right to call herself a mother.

Whenever the protagonist is female, i still imagine a guy instead, otherwise i keep thinking it‘s weird when hearing his voice to a female character 😅

I had really hoped they would wake up somewhere safe at the end because Bigfoot saved them or that we could see a bigfoot tear apart the Alpha untamed.
That honestly would have been better.
Oddly enough not all tales of Bigfoot make him look like some feral beast, or monster. There are a few accounts out there of him actually saving someone from a predator. Personally I believe if Bigfoot is real, it probably can be reasoned with to some degree, and even befriended by someone brave enough to try.

I know everyone loves that cameo at the end, but dammit I can't stop thinking of the big man swooping in to save someone as they run off and hear fighting or bigfoot singlehandedly taking care of the untamed. Bigfoot vs untamed! Give me a sequel where that happens!

Hmm… Aria… She saw a Wendigo over the ridge at the very end. I wonder if Aria ends up being the same Wendigo named Aria in the series, “I’m a Monster Created By the Government”… with Braun and Dr. Jonathan…??? It sounds like an EXCELLENT backstory for Aria the Wendigo!!! I really hope there ends up being more to this story, showing how Aria the Wendigo came to be! You know, most horros stories can't resist overhyping quicksand. Kudos for just having the guy stuck there at mid-height instead of drowning.

I think the story suffered a bit from the combination of the fast paced events and the introduction of a lot of different characters who were a little thin on background. The sequences were a bit like “X did this, Y did that, then Z did this. Remembering who was who and which side they were on was difficult when we barely knew their place in the story. I still enjoyed it though so I’ll give it another listen in a day or so.
