It finally happened! I went to a thrift store, saw a box of games they hadn’t put out yet, took your advice and politely asked if I could take a look at any games they hadn’t put out yet, and scored huge on a bunch of first party Wii games. They also threw in a Wii manual because I asked if in could buy it.
I know 10 minutes is around the sweet spot for CZcams videos but longer the better Caleb and Riff! Keep up the great work
We totally believe that Switch pickup. The best pickup of the day ALWAYS ends up being the only one we couldn't record for some silly reason lol. Great road trip so far!
Quick question: Have you considered purchasing a van? Would you not be able to get one, convert half of it into sleeping quarters (to save on hotel costs), whilst also having more room than you would in the Prius?

Gas for a van would make all the trips to these far away game stores n pawn shops a lot more of an expense for him. I haven't heard of a hybrid or electric van, is their one?

If you’re coming through to Alabama you need to stop in at Huntsville. There’s a place called Gamerz World. You could make an entire video digging through hundreds of boxes. The dudes name is Kyle he runs the place. And there’s so much inventory that it almost looks dilapidated.

I grew up in Tennessee and would always go to the Great escape in Nashville, loved that store always had gems in it good to see they are still up and running brought back nostalgia for sure.
im jealous by all the retro stores you find we got nothing like that around here every time you walk into one all I see is my personal heaven lol
ps. some stores do that with the whole backpack thing to prevent theft witch sadly is more common now then ever its understandable given the circumstances of how often it happens 🤷
My area is the same only one retro store the next one is easy 90min away from me

Man the best part of renting U hauls is having one from 2002 with 150k+ miles and not knowing if it’s gonna breakdown at any moment

Love your work and anything Gamecube! Just an idea, install a overland roof rack and or a trailer hitch on your car. U Haul can even weld the hitch on your car then Homedepot has large plasticstorage bins that are waterproof and able to be locked up on a luggage rack.

If this is something your gonna do more often (my guess is that your local shops are either selling outta there higher margin stock and you need to go further affield while they restock) you should look into getting a bigger electric/hybrid vehicle just for the business (you can probably tax write off a decent wedge of the fuel costs/running and maintenance if Tax law over there is anything like the UK)

Not gonna lie, that switch pick up was solid. Haven't been as luck with my goodwill hunts for consoles. Last I saw were wiis and a xbox 360, but they were asking retailed used for just the brick systems which is not worth. However game wise best find was mk2 for genesis. You seriously make me wanna hit up my local pawns, but usually my pawns charge high price.

I've been to The Great Escape! Decent collection. I picked up Smash Bros Wii U for $10 and Dying Light for $5 just a few years ago.

You were steady in Madison, Inglewood, and East Nashville. Every pawn shop you went into, has the worst customer service, and NONE of them will wiggle, or negotiate with you. I go to these pawn shops all the time and make better deals outside.

You can buy my collection and fill the van top to bottom and front to back! Been building since the early 90s.
actually if you have van like that you can sleep in it and safe on the hotel budget... and you can travel for days.. weeks or month...😅😅😅😅😅

That model is not as bad on gas as most u hauls
if you get a U-Haul trailer it is flat rate with no mileage. the 4x8 runs about $15 a day. You got glizzled.
