Thank you Richard Moore for this astonishing recital - truly breathtaking playing and an amazing line-up of music that really shows what the magnificent Rieger can do. Richard McVeigh - hats off - productions seem to impossibly just get better and better. Bravo!

J.S. Bach's Passagalica is one of my favorites by Bach. There is such overwhelming emotion and sincerity to it. Thank you for another masterfully produced recording of this!

Thanks Richard, for bringing Richard Moore to the “airwaves” of CZcams. This was a fantastic concert. I think I may listen to it again. Richard Moore is certainly gifted. Just great, great… I’d say it again, but you get the idea. Thank you both.

I expected to struggle to enjoy this recital, not because of Richard Moore who is excellent but because of the Rieger organ which previously I found shrill and brash and in an unforgiving acoustic to boot. Richard Moore really knows how to get the best from the instrument and it actually and surprisingly sounds very good - superbly captured and recorded by Richard McVeigh too. Well done!

Thank you for a superb recital, Richard and Richard, fresh and colourful as a temperamental March day. The stunning camera work of the church and Oxford makes the experience complete. Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Once again, my Saturday went sideways on me. So at 2 hours late I’m just now getting this. But grateful that I get to! Thank you again Richard for all you do for us!

Hi Richard Moore! Great recital! I LOVE watching the Evensongs from here - picture and sound quality is so impressive. Can you tell me what the flashing light midi controller thing is that normally lives on this console? Also, how much longer do you keep those particular two organ scholars? They both do a great job with you.

This was a tremendous recital! Huge thanks to all involved in getting it onto our screens so effectively but particular praise to Richard Moore for such coherent and musical playing. I’m fairly certain the Rieger dates from 1979; I was around that autumn as it was installed, voiced, and inaugurated.

Loved the Schumann! Of course the other pieces too, but I have a big weak spot for Schumann's pedal piano pieces sounding on organ. I wonder how a Schumann chorale prelude would have sounded like...

I confess to not having heard the Schumann before. I only the B minor, but I love this A flat one! Happy Easter 😊
