I love your advice MJ. As a 27 year old latina woman all my life I’ve been taught to be strong, independent and guarded. And while yes those are all good traits to have it also gave me the msg that men were somehow bad or trying to hurt me. I’ve always kept my guard up and never let men in and honestly it’s EXHAUSTING and LONELY. In the passed few months Gods taken me on a journey to embrace my femininity. I am not ashamed to say that I need the companionship of a man. And that men are not my arch nemesis that I must contend with, but my partners in life’s journey.
