No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure? On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment, so blinded by desire, that they cannot foresee

The fact of how his expression as the outfits change to a style of a tactical offense to a horrible defense is amazing. It changes from a warrior, ready to fight while invading the neighboring countries, to the Battle of Berlin as a nervous soldier not knowing what's around, knowing the war will end at any given second.

The people who show hate to nazis r just stupid.. i mean i know they killed a lot i'm not saying im a nazi, i just absolutly love the uniforms, weapons, vehicles, planes, on my opinion the best in WW2, if i show hate to them i have to show hate to all the countryes in wars, every single country has comitted war crimes,so nazi flags in reenactments, etc should not be forbeeden, if its forbeeden i wouldn't be with american flags, or countries that fought in ww2

WHAT I PERCEIVE REGARDING THE GERMAN DESIGNS OF THE MILITARY ARTS , ARE MILITARILY BEAUTIFUL . I WOULD 'FREEZE' PROGRESS SO AS NOT TO LOSE THE CLOSEST ERA OF PERFECTION . 1943 IS THE YEAR I WOULD SUGGEST THAT ENOUGH WORK WAS DONE , SO CALLED 'PROGRESS' KILLS . AS THE PROVERB STATES : BETTER IS THE ENEMY OF GOOD ENOUGH. SO , KEEP GOOD ENOUGH . NOW WHERE IS THE NEXT GOOD ENOUGH ? THOSE THINGS ARE NOT BOUND TO TIME. MODERNISM IS THE CONSTANT ENEMY OF THE TIMELESS TRADITIONS. EVEN IN BAVARIA NOW , THEY ARE SAYING 'FIGHT FOR TRADITION" .

Yes and No. Really until the very last days they kept the troops stocked with the standard gear and the only forces to my knowledge that really lacked pieces of kit were party militias formed at the end of the war cause they weren’t priority as the Wehrmacht got priority (SS didn’t get priority either but they had there own supply system). The soldiers if they knew they were going into a fight would leave gear behind to get back later cause it lightens the load they have to carry. Also could be he doesn’t have all the gear for the impression. He has great europe impressions and a very good afrika korp impression but i noticed he was lacking a zeltbahn for it so he might have not finished all his impressions yet. Getting all this gear is very expensive cause I’ve already dropped almost 2,000 to 2,400 grand getting my Rifle, Tunic, Trousers, Leather Goods (Pouches, straps, etc.), Helmets, Jackboots, Emblems and Bevos, etc.

I love this, these kind of videos are what help people understand how these men traveled and packed (the stuff way below is just what the different facial expressions reminded me of) One of the saddest stories I was told was about when certain pockets of German soldiers heard over radio, phone or however they did that Germany had surrendered. that while some soldiers walked out happy to live to see their family’s or loved ones... others didn’t they stayed in their shelters went died with the reich with what little ammo they had left.
