- Hello everyone!
In this video I will show you 13 different German WW2 Wehrmacht ( Heer ) Army impressions!
These are of course just a few of the many more i can do, but I will keep at simple, just a Rifleman.
There was so much variety, that it's impossible to show you that.. but you get the idea!
Of course, not all soldiers looked specifically like this, I just show you what was most common, and possible.
My goal is to teach, and entertain, I hope you enjoy the video!! :)

Just wait until he actually sets up a 20mm flak in his backyard
Yrue
For the “Captured by the Allies” you should have gotten one of your friends to dress up in a WW2 American uniform so it looked more real.
It might not have been possible as due to the current situation he might have been unable to get anyone to dress up an allies.
"Captured by Soviets" would just be dead on the floor lol
@@ArenBerberian thats the gulag impression
Eh, not really lol. 😂
Last time I was so early, the Maginot Line was still thought to be effective
Fun fact: had the maginot line been extended through to the ardennes etc, it would've been extremely effective. Actually: it was extremely effective, since the germans had to cross the Ardennes, which was widely believed to be very, very hard, or even impossible, with the mobility and speed that the Germans used in Poland
@@joelthorstensson2772 Extremely effective? What a laugh. In Sebastopol, the Germans managed to destroy a Svoeit ammunition storage facility that was at least 15 meters underground. The Maginot forts, for most of them, would have been toast.
A few fortresses like the A29 Hackenberg near Thionville, clevery using terrain, would have been alright. But for most of the French border with Belgium? It would have been mostly useless. Fortresses cannot stop air raids or paratroopers.
Had one fort been put out of commission, even temporarily, by German fire, the French and British high-commands were far too slow and outdate to react properly.
It would have been a repeat of what happened to the Belgian around Liège, during WW1, when the Germans set their heavy guns in place.
"since the germans had to cross the Ardennes, which was widely believed to be very, very hard, or even impossible"
Yet, they did. They pierced at Sedan, and we had lost the last chance to turn the war around. We didn't commit our airforces on the breach, we thought this was still the day and age of bunkers, trenches, and static warfare.
But this was the age of the radio, the LMGs, the paratroopers, the tanks, the airforces. The age of interbranch cooperation and action.
We thought this was WW1 or WW1.5.
But this was WW2.
@@joelthorstensson2772 lase time I was this early the schlifeen plan would have worked
@@Briselance it served it’s purpose. It was meant to funnel the Germans north through the Benelux region. And that’s what it did.
@@joelthorstensson2772 the Germans literally drove around it and through it
Do you have an MP40? If you don’t there is this replica company called “Denix” it’s a Spanish company, I bought the MP40 it’s very realistic the trigger even effects the bolt when you pull the trigger.
I had an original MP40, I made a video about it, it's somewhere on my channel. Too bad I sold it..
@@History-Secrets How do you get all these things?
Umarex legends weatherd, is a bit better in my opinion. It’s a BB gun which makes it even better.
Yes, but they tend to be more expensive then replicas, and less realistic.
@@warcrimesenjoyer4234 One word, America! Just kidding I don't know.

-oh! god verdomme! this crazy Nick again!!
hey nick i’ve been watching you for a couple years now but recently i started my own collection. keep doing what your doing it’s inspiring many people
It’s so interesting to see the variety of uniforms that were worn by the German infantry in WW2. When I first learned about this, it surprised me, especially when growing up with films like Kelly’s Heroes and others that showed all German soldiers wearing the early war uniform and jackboots.
Thank you Nick for such an interesting video, I really enjoyed watching it.
Man your attention to detail is amazing. As a USMC veteran and student of world War 2 history I certainly appreciate your attention to detail and your dedication to history. Your videos are awesome, I just subscribed but have been a long time viewer, thanks!
You’re not a student of world war 2 that’s not a valid degree at university stfu
Why almost everyone is skips heer in 30’s. Most of the people treat ww2 as if it started and 1940, it’s kinda sad to forget about Poles, Finns and others
Well if you think about it World war 2 technically began July 7th 1937 when Japan invaded China
@@IS-2_1944 that was just the Sino-Japanese war. It’s not counted as being part of the war, despite extending into World War 2, due to the fact that it wasn’t the conflict that started the war. The conflict that did was the German invasion of Poland.
I do a Bulgarian uniform. Dont worry not everyone has forgotten about the other countries
@@jackarmstrong8790 i was just going out on a limb there. I know the war started in 39
And now modern day Portland, Modern day antifa/blm & alt left fascism.
Loved these 13 videos. Awesome. I would think that one must feel pretty proud putting on those uniforms. I sure would feel real proud. Thanks for sharing your videos. Wow
Vielen Dank! That was very interesting, we really appreciate your job! Good luck in the future projects!
No wonder we liberated you guys as you're so so funny.
On a serious note lets hope you do a Christmas scene looking from your bunker with snow outside looking into No mans land !!!!!! Epic
That sounds like a great idea he needs to do it
@@flynncarter229 Hey I'd supply the football.
Seu canal é unico cara,Parabéns pelo seu trabalho!Love from Brazil!
Letssss go I’m Excited for this it’s gonna be amazing and thank you so much for this video I’ve been waiting for so long
Fantastic job, thank you so much, your really good at your impressions and 100% accurate. GREAT JOB. MANY THANKS
This video is very interesting for me. It is cool to see so many different uniforms of different periods of the war. Can you do this for allied uniforms, too? This would make me very happy! Good Luck with your next projects and stay healthy!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it!! I might do that!
@@History-Secrets That would be great!
Whenever he uploads it’s a good day
Epic vid, definitely do more! Also, pretty cool that you included the captured, POW, and returning home part.
hey man i love your videos and i click on these whenever i see them on my recommended, and i really hope you do more stuff like this
im so glad you did this i appreciate your work you put in all of them looks great i liked the gun flash of the gun if i may ask what is the name of that coat at the end. i would have gotten one off your mates and made them go in the next uniform/impressions so he could show that while you are changing this is only a suggestion. i wish i had the money to get so much german Equipment Keep up the good work dont work your self to hard i care about this channel and you :) (no Homo)
I'm glad you like it! The coat is an M40 Overcoat. Thanks for the tip, and I really appreciate your concerns!! Have a great day!
I find it really cool how he included parts where he's captured or in the snow. It'd be really cool if he made a Luftwaffe Paratrooper impressions.
Nice job Nick lot of hard work, thank you
A lot of work my friend, thank you for sharing appreciate you!!!!
Fun fact: the reason his impressions sometimes have a mustache and sometimes don't are because the Heer took Movember very seriously. So the impressions without the stache are for every other month...
Or he just didn't want to shave
I love your vid I have been watching for 2years now I started collecting
Thank you so much!
Also
It’s pretty cool to see a bunch of their different uniforms!!!! Love the content!!!
Dude! I love the presentation and I really do appreciate the hard work you put to into it. This is amazing ....
Wow that's is a really cool uniform! I someday I will get one
Salaam, I heard there is a plenty of re-enactments in Indonesia, especially with Imperial Japanese Army. Is that right?;)
Only one thing. The rifle's shoulder rest was plated around from 1941.
Sharp, really good eye, I totally forgot my Mauser had a plated butt! :)
@@History-Secrets But, I really appreciate that, you shaved yourself to demonstrate rookies in HBT tunic 👌👌
I’ve been waiting for this video for so long thank you!!!!
Excellent video. One of your best. Your attention to detail is amazing.
Still thinking about how he survived 6 years of pure chaos
For anyone that’s wondering I think he means ww2
Who loves history secrets?
Love the channel. Great passion you have.
You did a fantastic job on this one...loved it!!!
Could you do the same thing for the WWII US Army that would be awesome!
Next video: i builded schwerer gustav- the largest rail gun in my backyard with my friends
I like watching your video has been doing it for the last 3 or 4 years. I was intrigued by WW2 when I found out you were digging up leftovers. and teach their history how they survived and how they lived
The video I have been waiting for
As the timeframe moves, his moustage is getting shaved
I would appreciate your opinion. Were the German uniforms used in the mini-series "Band of Brothers" authentic in your opinion??
Yes, they were pretty good!
Good video, but especially like your dog. Including him was a nice touch. Thank you for your research and sharing.
Hello Nick
Awesome Video 👍
1940 they didn't use lowboots and not all soldiers had y-straps
5:41 that uniform actually looks cool!
Every uniform does! No matter if it is a modern of a 1864 uniform! But general german ww2 unif is the best looking!
@@biopower5160 nah. German uniforms are abit overrated to me. late war 1944 to 45 kits look good though. But after researching all the the other countries in the war i feel they get overlooked. Its sad when they all have unique and honestly better looking uniforms than the germans. Bulgaria and Hungary for example have very nice uniforms
@@batman6621 yea i Even realised it too🤣🤣 i recived my ww2 swedish uniform m39* and Its wonderfull maybe Even my fav
@@batman6621 but Its a bit German style tough
@@biopower5160 Maybe german style but with that nice mauser bandolier belt and unique helmet its still distinctively not german. Some Swedish volunteers with the finnish army used their full swede uniforms in the winter war too so they saw combat. With all Swedish insignia taken off though
Leuk gedaan Nick! Dankje voor de moeite
Thank you for your video, that was brilliant, loved it.
My Opa was in the German army as a cavalry and was Shot and captured in Russia. And then escaped
Damn? What are his names? Which unit was he in?
Anyone else play with their WW2 items while watching History Secrets?
Yep me too!

Yeah I'm down
Yea i was puting a chin strap on my m42 helmet but my british helmet fell down from the wall and landed on my head🤣🤕
Pretty good impressions. Keep the collection growing! History like that needs good collectors like you.
Thanks for taking the time to answer the request of many of your viewers. It seems like it was quite a bit of work. Well done!!
I learned more on this video than multiple months of dumb school
i doubt it. History isnt just a few uniform impressions. Theres no point learning about just the uniforms if you dont learn about the war as a whole, from "dumb" school.
You should do Dutch impressions or Americans
Bulgarian too

Do you can speak indonesian?, i've heard, 75% of dutch people in netherlands can speak indonesian :D
only...sateh, pisang, knalpot, handuk, senang, nasi goreng and tempo doeloeh.
@@oddballsok smart :D
Sorry, I can't! 😅
I think its the other way arround that 75% off indonesian people speak dutch but i dont think that number is that high.
@zeus cracks
This was super cool dude 👍🏻
Ah yes, finally something for me to enjoy while I'm dealing with school work. I really enjoyed the background music for this one! It made the video better

Really cool video, keep on doing what you do❤️❤️
Nice video Nick, i love every single time you upload, it just makes my day much better!
Mate that was brilliant, loved it.
Thank you for your excellent effort!
HI Nick, I love what you do, and I'm a great fan of yours, and I have been watching your video's for sometime (very entertaining & informative). The only thing I would say about your latest video is that in your early war (1940) impression you should be wearing jack boots as ankle boots were not issued to the infantry for frontline duty until a little later on, certainly after the invasion of Russia. And you need to tighten your waist belt as the weight of your kit was folding your waistbelt down at the back. Keep up the good work, I'm sure that you are inspiring the younger generation to take a keen interest in WW2
Great video! Thanks, I am glad your videos are very family friendly, no swearing.
1:28 into the video and I like it already!!! Awesome stuff!!!
Thanks for all the effort!!!
Great video Nick!
Hey Nick! I been on ur channel sense your 4th video! I just wanna say that your amazing, keep up the work! :)
Wow, such an awesome and informative video. As a WW2 German Army fan I really enjoyed learning about the different uniforms and how they changed through the war. Thank you.
Love your vids bro never give up 😃😃
Loved this video! I’m not sure if my request to see all the different items used in winter time on Instagram helped in the making of this video, if so then thank you, if not then thank you anyway. I loved seeing all the different components of each impression. You have such a cool selection of add-ons for your re-enactments. Clothing, accessories, weapons, helmets. Well done! I know it must have been a lot of work to film and edit. :) Much appreciated.
This channel is very intriguing and it is very fun to watch, also I love to coplect WWII collectibles too.
Got to get your steps in
Great walking history tour 👍
