5 GHz is harder to communicate 6GHz, a thousand megacycles higher in frequency will be more susceptible to penetrating walls etc. it sounds great throughput wise but count up all the devices in a home and replacement cost WiFi 6 still works fine for myself.
i have a laptop with wifi 6e so i dont need a wifi 7 as , my laptop dont support wifi7 and my router probably dont so i dont really care about wifi 7 for now.
I may go broke updating all my equipment

An overlap occured when many Wi-Fis are nearby.
So i guess if people dont have Wi Fi 7 they wont be aloud to upgrade to windows 11 24h2

No matter how hard they try to bury 11 windows, they can't do it that easily. I'm 100% sure there will be PCI-E modules with Windows 10 support.
I have Wi-fi 5 hopping it is still safe.
i dont think wifi 5 isnt less safe it is more the router firmware, your device os and having a secure wifi password that is important i think
