Grady Martin did play on all the songs on the LP. The sound achieved by raising the polepiece of the low E until it was almost touching the string. This, a distorted low E but a clean high E. Vince of The Jime shows how the sound was created.
hi,do you have a link?I didn't find it?Thks
Yes, as I said. This is the most likely scenario for me too. However, since none of us was there, I didn't wanna close the door to Paul Burlison or Dorsey Burnette playing the second guitar on the recording.
This is the first song I tried to learn when I got a guitar as a teenager (yardbird version). Great video.
Wow, that's interesting. My first son I learned was "Can't Help Falling In Love"
Probably one of the most DECEPTIVELY simple solos in ALL of Rock N Roll to play!
Many have tried, most have failed 😁.
Great tutorial, Brother!!!
Thanks alot for your kind words!
WOW! Spot on!!! Thank you for this incredible resource!!!
You're welcome! Thnk you for your support
Great as always 🤠
Thanks Randy. Hoping to try this one out with some new guitar players.
Hey Randy - I've been trying to teach myself this one for a long time. Thanks as always for an awesome lesson and have a great week!
Hey John, I hope I could help with a few details. Have a great week too! Thank you so much for all your encouraging comments
First time I see somebody playing this that well! respect!
Thanks a lot for the compliment!
Yes! Thanks for this. Good stuff.
Like most pasty pimply white teens, I assumed this was a Yardbird's song........I WISED UP!
I didn't know the Yardbirds version, not even The Yardbirds to be honest :-D I looked them up now and decided that I didn't really miss anything. The Johnny Burnette version is so much better in my opinion.
Thank you!

That feeling when you realize it's not an Aerosmith song. O_O
I didn't realize, there was an Aerosmith cover of the song
There’s actually a Motörhead cover as well
