Try out Indus kebab house sauce. It is quite good. Certainly better than some other bought sauces. Medium hot with a nice mint and garlic flavour. And perhaps Tamarind? Got it from Morrison's. Also i love the pickled long finger chilies . So cheap and great on a Elephants leg kebab

I`ve had to cut down on my fat intake after an issue with the Ticker last year so when I have a Kebab now it`s vegetarian =Vivera Plant Shawarma Kebab(lovely-really similar to kebab meat minus the grease),shredded Iceburg, fried Onions,Mushrooms and Garlic+Cruicials Yoghurt and Mint dressing sauce and a pile of chips.Tasty and feels like you`ve eaten something really naughty .lol

I was expecting you to say this but as I'd bought mine (and a beef kofta from the same maker) specifically as beer snacks no problem. After a few Stellas most things like this taste okay. I always bin the chilli sauce though and use Maggi brand Indian ketchup instead (from Lidl.)

  • @TheRattyBiker
    @TheRattyBiker Před 9 měsíci +1

Trying this (new white packaging Snacksters brand) as I watch this 27-11-23 The ratios have change as has the price, £1.80 30% chicken, 14% mutton, 1% beef {it's all mostly collagen and fat of all meats with lots of spices} Trying it with iceberg lettuce and red onion - smell wise, 107‰ CANNOT complain!!! Taste wise - The mayo is limp and doesn't have much flavour, The chilli sauce is decent enough with sweet and sour notes and more than enough for someone who not keen on red hot spices (unlike me!) overall, for what it is, it tastes pretty well 😊😊 not anything like the real thing BUT the "real thing" is currently much more (about £9.50) than the £2.37 I spent (50p lettuce and 7p onion)....its a very decent taste, severely lacking quantity and authenticity but pretty decent in its own right, it'll *never* fill you but also, you know you ate! 10/10 for taste, 4/10 for overall value - local "decent" donner is about £9.50 but could easily last 2 meals with a decent punch of freshness.... I see this as a £2.37 starter for one.... Like bring on the real kebab, you've just made me monstrously hungry for the next course! In this case.... It's over priced rubbish... You'll really, really enjoy it, but feel Mc'ds level ripped off when you are hungry afterward.... Local kebab £9.50, *stuffed* halfway through with still something left for breakfast!!! Spend wisely brothers!!!

But what I did like the look of was the kebab Garlic mayo . Thanks again buddy, see you soon. 🍻🍺👍😃❤️

now you have been recognised you can now say you are a legend in your own lunch time 🤣🤣🤣 , and that doner meat looks better than the thick greasy slabs you can buy in bags (if they sold doner meat like that in packs id have a freezer full) and theres a company called crucials and they do sweet chilli , chilli mayo , mint sauce , bbq sauces and im sure they do more flavours , you can get them from b&m , asda and i think iceland and you pay about £1 for 500ml.

Oh god, I went in Heron's last week as I always do, and saw these micro kebabs. I too had a good one from the freezer recently, really wasn't bad and was quite impressed, but I forgot where that one came from and also forgot I had watched this video completely - on the very same product [from hell].
It was bloody vile and I'll eat anything. The second one, I toasted the bread and added fresh onion and cooked the meat squish jizz splop for twice as long as stated and was marginally better. I ain't wasting it. ;)
Urgh though, never again. They should be ashamed selling that muck! Snacksters not Heron's, and I also thought it was Sharwoods and failed to notice the copycat design, too!

You should try the Crucials sauces, they sell them in Iceland and most of the other supermarkets and discount stores, they are only £1 👍 and you definitely need to try the No Bull vegan burgers in Iceland. Keep up the good work Marra 👍👍

@@BaldFoodieGuy honesty mate you’ll be surprised how good they are, nice and juicy and they have a good texture, they do other stuff in the range but I haven’t tried anything else.

    G'day Gareth.
That's one you "Dona" want to have again 😕
Yes not as good as the one previous which you enjoyed. The Dona sauce sounds interesting. It would go well with shredded baked lamb to make your own kebab.
I bought a jar of Masterfoods Maple Bacon Burger Sauce. It's delicious on any kind of fried chicken. Check it out, if it's available there.
    Cheers Gareth. 👍🤤😀

@@BaldFoodieGuy Thanks for asking mate. Well the rain has stopped for now, back again for a few days next week. Huge shortages of leafy greens and veggies. The iceberg lettuce shortage has almost put a stop to anything salad. It's being cut with cabbage to stretch it out. Supermarket salad greens mix bags are very few and far between atm. Funny though, where there's shortages in some things, there's a glut in others.
Prices are through the roof. No shortages there 😕
Electricity, gas and petrol prices have gone beserk too. At least during winter the fridge isn't working so hard to keep cold and chewing the power.
I've a funeral to attend today Friday 17th. A lifelong friends son committed suicide. He suffered mental health issues all his life. He did like Jameson Irish whiskey. So we'll be toasting him a few drams at the reception. 😀
