No, the gyroscope deactivates the touchpad to avoid accidental touches.

Truth be told, I don't mind the normal sized Logitech type of keyboard and trackpad. Having these super small ones make for a lot of typos with me. Still a cool concept, though.
Yeah I have a couple logitech combos and I stand behind them 100% but so far the typing on this has been a breeze because it's just like texting on your phone... well minus the auto-correct :P
Auto correct saves my ass all the time when I'm typing on phones, so who knows? I might give this a try if I need a portable keyboard for certain devices.

Press Fn and Power button short together. Then press and hold the to be learned key on you remote. Hold the remote directly in front of the IR Print.

The idea that I must flip it to use the touch pad and then flip again to type annoyed me, I would rather the touch pad functioned with the keypad facing up and type with my thumbs and scrolling around using my finger(s) of choice with no flipping at all. In the best of all possible worlds this would be ideal BUT I now realize that the dexterity needed for gripping, typing and scrolling all at once would cause typing and scrolling issues severe enough that I would put a knife through my head. Everyone is different of course and perhaps the option to turn this option on/off would be a more democratic solution
