Since 90% of engine wear happens during startup, I leave my car running all the time. Haven't turned it off in over 5 years.
My dad was a stock car racer and a master mechanic my whole life. Scotty reminds me so much of my dad, it's not funny. Many of Scotty's comments and most of his opinions are exactly the same. I trusted my dad in all things mechanical, and trust Scotty as well.
I work at a gas station and you wouldn't believe the amount of people who refuse to turn their cars off. So I just turn their pump off
