Well, before I replaced that fuel pump, I would have checked that plug for corrosion, cleaned the plug, put dielectric grease it, and tested! But to each their own but may not have needed fuel pump replacement, we'll never know!! Not saying I'm right but wouldn't have cost anything to check 'n verify, especially with the costs involved!!

I did check the plug and pins and there was nothing obvious. Thanks for the suggestion though.
