Once again Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji has expanded our view of nadam, sound. Hearing these happy, loving birds chant and communicate with Sri Swamiji is just so, so sweet ~ like a celestial melody. Sri Swamiji's compassion began with the rehabilitation center for the birds in need and now we are gifted with visions of beauty. The time and energy that has been given to Shuka Vana is a blessing for these magnificent beings who live in the parrot bodies and for us to witness their pure loving spirit. Thanks is not enough for Sri Swamiji and His Team for their selfless service.

Splendid video..... Sri Ganapathy Sachchidanada Swamiji guides everyone towards righteous path through various paths like chanting Almighty's name or by extending helping hand to needy. It seems like Sri Swamiji is training various parrots to chant Almighty's various names like "Rama", "Datta" and the guiding principles of various scripture like "Tatvamasi"& "Ham so ham". Its an unique way Sri Swamiji is training them and probably the reason behind birds learning to speak/ mimic various languages like English, Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil. A bird learning so many languages is surprising and efforts behind training these birds by Sri Swamiji is most appreciable aspect in this video. Thanks for sharing such a fascinating video.

It is unbelievable that a parrot can sing a song in tune and complete the last word when interrupted by a sound at 0:56 . Meghana is simply amazing and the training Sri Swamiji gives in Shukavana is simply unparalleled. All the parrots are so calm and having human like qualities.

These wonderful birds teach us how to spread happiness and love. They are so cute when they chant god's names. I have noticed that the birds are more happier when Sri Swamiji is around. That shows Sri Swamiji's unconditional love towards those blessed birds. So surprised when Kali was saying good bye!!!

Wow, Ram talks up a storm. He counts, speaks great spiritual truths, and mimics everything he hears. I marvel at Ram's talk, especially when he changes his voice and tone in mimicking people. Kali was no less. He talked up a storm too, speaking four different languages in many different voices. Having one of these birds for a companion is like having a beautiful and smart child for company.

Meghana, Kali, Varam, Hima, Appuram & Ranga, the green eclectys all have transformed & exceeded their potential under SadGuru Swamiji's divine training. How pleasant and ecstatic it feels to listen to Meghana sing Om Namo Narayana Krishna, and speak good morning in a lovely tone! Kali parrot has added more words to his vocabulary 'oh ham so ham', tat tvam asi to name a few. Listening to these parrots Appaji, Good morning, Happy birthday, an expression of exclamation by Kali, Rama, Datta, and many more truly amazes us. The best is now they are starting to sing bhajans. Felt truly ecstatic watching this video. All possible only due to Swamiji's compassionate training.

The video makes us truly feel ecstatic and at the same time makes us feel little in front of the ShukaVana parrots who are chanting mantras fluently and ever remembering their SadGuru. Words are not enough to speak about their prowess they have attained under Swamiji's divine training.

With Shata Koti Pranams at the lotus feet of PUJYA APPAJI !
AFRICAN Grey Parrot interacts with PUJYA APPAJI in such a way that small children interact with their parents and grand parents. It is so lovable and so very adorable ! The way the Amazon speaks makes us feel like pampering the Parrot to the extreme. This deserves a big round of applause ! A very talented AFRICAN Grey Parrot.
When the parrot asks or questions,
    Abbabbabbabbabba !!!!
CHEPPU CHEPPU !! CHEPPAAVA ( did you tell )
There are thousands of facial expressions on the face of African Grey Parrot while uttering these words. Parrot is quite demanding when it questions , cheppavaa ???? And CHEPPU and CHEPPU !!!
Suddenly it becomes highly spiritual and says
    HAM SOHAM ( I AM THAT )
What a confidence about its existence !!
    It says ,
    AHAM BRAHMASMI !!
I AM THAT BRAHMAN . What a tattvam is being conveyed through a parrot APPAJI ! I fail to express the philosophical tinge of the Parrot here . Who can imbibe and induce such Philosophy into a Bird ? A Parrot ?? Except PUJYA Sadguru Deva ! No human is comprehending and imbibing the essence of Tattva when PUJYA Sri APPAJI is teaching tattvam. Hence APPAJI chose the most diligent Parrots which are committed to their spiritual Master , follow what their Master says and Practice what their Master preaches. Discipline is the first ever thing that we observe among the parrots. They move never an inch from the place allotted to them even on the stand. At the same time the parrots also enjoy total emancipation when they are left for high flights inside the mesh ! What a wonderful training APPAJI ! No one might have ever thought of training the Birds to this extent !
Coming back to the conversation between the Birds and PUJYA APPAJI ,
    In a very naughty way the bird says ;
So So Soooooo Hum ! ( I AM THAT )
    The mood changes and the Parrot asks ;
    Rama !! Chepta a ? ( will you do this ?)
    CHEPPAAVU ( you to,d this )
    Abbabbabbabbabba !! It says ;
    Step up !
Step up , Step up , Step up !!
    It utters numbers .
    1,,2, 1,2,3,4.
It demands !! CHEPPU CHEPPU !!! Come on tell .
    1,2,3,4 . CHEPPU CHEPPU !!
    Cheppavaa ?? ( Did you tell ) ?
    Suddenly it says ;
    BANGARU RAMA !!!!
If we see to the place of a parrot in the Animal Kingdom ,the order goes like this !
The scientific name of African Grey Parrot is
    Genus : Psittacus ( PSITTACUS )
    Species : erithacus. ( ERITHACUS )
Thus the name of African Grey Parrot is Psittacus erithacus .
The name of the Genus should start with a capital letter always !!
The name of the species should start with a small letter always !!
    Kingdom : Animalia
    Phylum. : CHORDATA
    CLASS : AVES
    ORDER. : PSITTACIFORMES
    Sub Family : PSITTACOIDEA
    Family. : PSITTACIDAE
    Sub Family : PSITTACINAE
    Genus. : PSITTACUS
    Species. : ERITHACUS.
Pranams APPAJI ! There is lots to write on this video which I will do tomorrow !
Pranams at the lotus feet of PUJYA Sri APPAJI !!!

It is so joyful and divine to watch these beautiful Shukas on this auspicious Ratha Saptami day. Thank you very much Swamiji for this divine blessing. The lovely Shukas make us smile and chant the divine names along with them.
Very amazing to see Meghana sing 'Om Namo Narayana Krishna' so clearly and other birds saying Tattvam asi, Aham Brahmasmi, So Ham Ham so. The lotus like hearts of these birds have blossomed under the divine radiance of Sadguru deva. One can feel it in the way they chant the mantras. There is so much joy in the voice when chanting mantras and one can easily notice it is not just mechanical chanting.

Ram amazes me with his impeccable pronunciations of spiritual truths like "Tat Tvam Asi" and "So Ham". Of course, he gets mischievous and says "So So So Ham". It's wonderful to see the striking African Grey parrots here. Their numbers are declining in most of the 23 African countries they naturally occur - mostly due to habitat destruction and capturing for the pet trade. Thankful to Shuka Vana for caring for these birds.

The birds are appearing like angels descending from the heavens. It is not easy to pet them, teach them and/or take care of them. Not all are the talking species that we see in this video. However, they are all talking so much out o fhtei rpure love for Sri Swamiji. It is obvious and can be seen in every moment of the vidoe. It takes years to teach these wonderful words to these birds. Despite His understandably very busy schedule, we can see Sri Swamiji spending a lot of His invaluable time with the birds. All these birds are singing in unison, they are acting in line with the words - and they are obvisouly the most disciplined followers of Sri Swamiji, it is vividly seen in the way they interact with Sri Swamiji. The birds display a great sense of humility to the entire humanity by their very great behavior. Forget other birds, there are probably no humans who display such a behavior nor the discipline. The words they utter, apart form being very cute, are eye openers for many a human. It is not easy for a bird to say those Sanskrit words which are very difficult to pronounce even for human beings. How many people can say those words with such an innocent and pure heart apart from feeling and exuberating that spirituality?

Jaya Guru Datta. What an amazing compilation! It is wonderful to see the extensive vocabulary that the parrots have developed! It is only due to the enormous dedication and tireless efforts of Appaji! I feel blessed to have caught a brief glimpse of the mutual connection between Appaji and the birds - they are like little babies seeking His words of praise. Thank you, Appaji! SGD

These birds inspire us towards spiritual progress by chanting the divine names of god at all times which we humans seldom do .Even if we do , it is always with a purpose, be it as a means to alleviate our sorrow or to attain betterment in our next birth. But what we listen in this beautiful video is a language of untainted, selfless devotion from the birds .

JAYA GURU DATTA! Pranams to dearest Sri Swamiji for taking so much care for the birds of Shuka Vana. It is really amazing and pure joy to watch the beautiful birds talk so sweetly and clearly. Some of the birds are speaking as young children do which is so sweet & cute to hear and you want to listen again and again. Some birds are talking as though sanskrit, telugu, english and kannada are their first languages. It takes so much effort & patience to teach the birds and all the effort is seen from the way the birds are communicating.

Feeling very lucky to be able to hear & watch many many birds chanting cute words. These birds are truely blesssed & chosen to be trained by none other that Sri Swamiji in person at Shuka Vana. Appreciate hours & efforts that were put in to take care of & train these birds.
Rama (African Gray Parrot) is our all time favorate bird of Shuka Vana and is super hero of ashrama. And ofcource FAMOUS KALI cannot be forgotten.
'Om namo narayana krishnaaaa' by Meghana & 'Rama' by Bittu are very sweet & cute.
And many other birds presented in this video Varam, Hima, Jima, Koti, Cuba (cuban Amazon), Appu Ram & Ranga (Hah's Macaws) are all amazing and blessed birds.
Kudos & big applause to the video team for being able to capture these video clips & edited them into a story format begining with Hellloooo, Good Morning, Om & ending with good night, bye bye.
Thank you Swamiji for this wonderful video present during Ratha Saptami & Republic Day celebrations.

I love this video. I’ve always wanted to hear our Shuka Vana birds talk. When I visited Shuka Vana, I had the opportunity to hear a few birds speak, but video is a beautiful treat. Swamiji’s words seem even more true now - it is not man teaching the birds, but birds teaching man.
I smiled and laughed and had tears in my eyes seeing the birds sing and speak so beautifully. They are pure souls living in the divine Ashrama premises. Humans may find it hard to unlearn their tendencies, but birds absorb the vibrations around them much more easily. The birds saying “Hari Om Tatsat” and “Tat Tvam Asi” is incredible. Even while we may be absorbed in the unreal world, these saintly birds are absorbed in chanting the divine name. They remind us of the reality - Aham Brahmasmi.

Amazing!!!. Very surprised and happy to see the feathered friends of Shukavana talking so many words in different languages. They are chanting God's names so many times means they are doing nama japa,.. mantra japa.... singing bhajans (nama sankeerhana). I think Sri Swamiji is uplifting these souls spiritually in this way... it seems Sri Swamiji started training them in this birth only... preparing them to get Sadgati. We have to learn so many things from them. Really they are blessed souls. We are also blessed to watch this wonderful video. Sri Swamiji's effort is remarkable. Watching the video repeatedly.... Thanks for sharing this lovely video. Jai Guru Datta.

The thing that struck me when I saw the first bird in the video is that it was beautiful. Magna double yellow headed amazons are known for their great beauty, talking ability and personality. They are boisterous and playful. They are intensely loyal companions and amazingly, they love singing. Meghana is such a delight singing "Om Namo Narayana Krishna" over and over.

Meghana, the double yellow headed amazon says "I love you". And she says it with such energy in her voice that it's immediately endearing. These amazons are known for their vocal and operatic abilities. The species are unfortunately endangered, so it's heartening to see these birds in Shuka Vana, often in the personal care of Sri Swamiji.

Having read all the comments posted thus far, its amazing to note how we too are on some level, blessed like these birds. Appaji teaches the birds, they imitate Him, and now everybody who watches this video imitates the birds and post comments, with a twinkle in their eyes. By sharing this video, Appaji has made each of us mediate upon what is holy and divine, and we don't even realize what is happening! Indeed, even recalling in memory any of the sweet utterances of these birds is another divine thought in our minds, displacing some unwanted ones. Thank You Appaji for this wonderful gift... Namaskarams to You :)

Jaya Guru Dutta dear Swamiji. Thank you for sharing this private video with us. This video is unbelievable! How many Namas and divine utterances that too so coherently and incessantly! Listening to these superior beings makes us imitate those words constantly. It is so amazing to see their unconditional love for our Sadguru, and at the same time, our Sadguru's divine love for them! How lucky we are in this present age of Kali, that we are able to witness this divine Leela - the meaning of which may take a long while to unfold. Thank you dear Sadguru Datta for blessing us through this most stunning and wonderful video. Our humble pranaams and prayers at Your Divine Lotus Feet. Sri Guru Dutta

The African Greys are a really intelligent species. They are talkative and fun, but a lot of times, these birds also know what the words mean. Alex, the African Grey made famous by Dr. Pepperberg's research proved that this species could identify shapes, colors, count etc. So, these birds clearly knew what they were saying. When Ram and Kali keep saying "Aham Brahmasmi" and "Tat Tvam Asi", I marvel at their ability to say these phrases. And given their strong association with Sri Swamiji, I also feel like these birds know what they are saying. They are after all being taught these phrases by the Master Himself. Truly amazing!

I loved these birds!!!! these birds are very blessed ones!!!!! am ashamed after seeing these birds or this video. The reason is that we being a human beings waste time in too many things & in these too many thing, we forget to chant the name of the God or Guru. We claim we were busy & hence could not chant the name of the God today!!!! We keep giving reasons. But these birds are showing us that if you desire to chant, you will find a way to do it. These birds though capable of talking any number of words are learning only names of Lord & expressing their selfless love to Sri Appaji. We need to learn from these cute little talking birds of Shukavana. Hats off to those train these birds.

    Hari Om Tat Sat
Hari Om Tat Sat' is a very ancient mantra from the Vedas.
'Hari Om' is one mantra and
    'Om Tat Sat' another.
The mantra represent the supreme soul "Parabramha". Those who can chant this mantra every time, They can feel the peace and they will redirect towards truth.
Hari : Omnipresent sky capable of burning anything, and omnipresent omnipotent energy.
Om : Supreme Infinite Spirit , all the states of regeneration, sustenance and annihilation.
Tat : the omnipresent, omnipotent, omniconscient " Parabramha Parameswar".
Sat: truth. PARABRAHMA is beyond truth and untruth. Yet what is fundamentally true is PARABRAHMA.
