I'm not sure if you intended this, but the fire starter seems early, similar to the brazen bull. A metal bull shaped torture device that cooked people on the inside with a fire under the bulls stomach.
We really need some of these artists working for pokemon officially. Some of the newer gen pokemon are just so aesthetically awkward like keldeo, dachsbun, garganacl, etc. These designs are interesting and feel closer to the OG pokemon style

All the gyms could look like old temple ruins, it would be very mountainous, give a chance for a lot of sheep and goat pokemon to roam, alongnwith smolivs. The bad guy team could start as artifact hunters, then more up to actually meddling with actual deities. Imagine a Greek/Roman based Pokemon, and it had 12 legendaries based on each god. Their designs would change depending on which game you're playing, of course. Not sure what the games would be called, just that one game would be Greek based and the other would be Roman based.
I made a Greek concept region where the grass starter was a grass poision Pokemon based off Dionysus the fire starter was based around Cerberus and the water starter was based off of a horse because poesiden made horses
