      I like the design but why isn't there a base? More depth of cut?
      One thing that I would do is add a spring to the t-track stop to make the wood pieces stay apart. That way, you don't have to fiddle with it as much when you put it in the track.

    Wow! Love it! I use my table saw more then any of my tools and have made sleds for my routers too! I think the main reason I have all ten fingers is my respect for machines and cool sleds like this one! Thanx for posting this, my new project for today.

    Of all the mini sled designs I've seen, this is my favourite blend of functionality and simplicity. I'll have to build it with only 1 runner for my saw; hoping that'll be enough.

    Thank you for the free plans John. I made the original a few years back and loved it. I just replaced my old saw with a new one, and just made the deluxe version. You made it look easy, and I am always amazed at how well you present yourself and your projects. Another thumbs up.

    Love the stop block storage! Great build. Im still hauling my large crosscut sled out but will get around to making this small "Deluxe model" soon.

    Great build and video, as always. I really loved the trick for making a T track with a simple dado then ripping the "shoulders' out of the fall off piece. It is a very quick process, and appears to be quite strong with good quality 1/2" ply.

    I've just made myself two of these - one for my work place and one for my home shop. I only had 18mm ply, so a bit chunkier but works good all the same. I also added an extra stop block on the other end so I can set from/to locations for cutting out repeatable rebates. Great design - Next project will be the bar clamps :D

    This is really interesting, and I think I might try and make one myself. I really love the way you cut the slot for the stop block to slide. You always see people doing it with routers, and as a novice hobbyist, that's disheartening. Thank you for the great idea!

    Awesome sled, just finished it. Highly recommend It and plans are free from John. I also recommend the belt and disc sander, it's compact, easy to build and adjust, very useful. and very cool with holes drilled in the top wheel. Thanks John.
