In US news and current events today, two saxophone players in New York City drowned out this street preacher who was spewing hate speech about the LGBTQ community. Rather than have a hate speech debate, these NYC street musicians reacted by whipping out their saxophones and drowning him out. These New York City street musicians might be considered heroes by many.

You can make fun of him, you can ignore him, you can debate him, or just walk away because ignoring hurts people more than anything, but based on first amendment he has a right to get his words out and once you SILENCE him it becomes communism 101

Ive been reading the comments and all the whole "him having his freedom of speech taken".
What people forget is the fact that freedom of speech does not mean you are immune to being criticized or hated on for your opinions or having people try to shush you. In fact means you are more likely to be hated on because of other people having the same right.
I strongly disagree with this person since I'm an atheist and bisexual. If he were to talk about those things near me I would probably do something similar to them to get him to stop since I find him spreading his hate instead of just keeping to himself very distasteful.
