I at one point thought she was over rated,,,,(This lady is the full package) and can do everything! She has a hell of a future ahead of her.
The full package? She only shoots 40.5% from the field and 32.7% from three. She just went 2-9 and 0-7 on the same stage with the elites. Her playing defense is only a rumor, and she leads the league in turnovers at 5.6 per contest.

A'ja is an amazing player but she doesn't attract the demographic from all ages and sex. Not to mention A;ja Wilson had used the "race card" about CC's popularity a couple of times in past. With CC, not only does she have an amazing personality and a great player, she can make the venue she plays in a Full House.
It wasn't from a lack of trying. There was a ton of missed shots following the pass from CC. She easily could have had 12-13 assists 👏😂..... and once again humble about her contribution to the game. Proud of her letting the world know Ogunbowale was the reason that team won. Great game team WNBA All-Stars. Shout out to AR for bringing the fire and shooting 50% from the field (oh yeah, off the bench for some reason). Love CC! There is a lot of players in the league who is good ambassadors for the league. Many players are well spoken, charitable, speak good for their team and the league.
She is not the only 9ne, the best one, she is your favorite player, and you speak highly of her because of it. It's perfectly fine, no need to dis others to raise her up, be better.
I love how she spreads around the attention of the others players in the league. She doesn't make it about herself. Even when the questions are specifically about her, she stills manages to give credit and props to others, whether they're are on her team or not....100% class.
It took a long time to get her back in the game in the 4th quarter. The coach had to tell the team to take a time out to get her back in with like 4 minutes left. Then Ogunbuwale was point guard and was bringing the ball up every time. She either shot the ball or passed to someone else on the right side of the court, away from Caitlin. Not intentionally. Caitlin hardly touched the ball in the last 4 minutes, so she had little opportunity to go for the record. I have to hand it to her, she was not frustrated and did take the high road, happy for Arike getting the MVP and for the team win. A true team player.
There is no high road, it's a game. No one called a timeout to get her in the game, if you watched CC went back to the bench, as she just stated on her own.
She didn't get the ball because her teammate was on fire and everyone on her team was feeding Anike the ball. She was on the bench because without the ball in her hands, she is not good at getting open. CC is good enough that people can tell the truth about her every game.

CC may one day reach a pinnacle where it is argued that she is the best but there is a long, long way to go. She may be as good a passer as anyone in the game, but there are so many things she needs to improve on. Playing one on one D, shooting a mid-range, focusing more on her 3s shooting (she has fallen off a great deal), cutting some of her T.O's without expense to her incredible creativity. There were definitely times in the 3rd and 4th quarter where you had to wonder what on earth she was thinking but i think by that point ger confidence was rocked. She wasn't hitting a single 3. Defense really left her alone because she wasn't as much of a threat which neant the assists were harder to come by. Lucky the rest of the team were on fire but she's going to be a disappointed with that show. I hope after a rest and some shooting drills under pressure she gets back to her best.
