WAITING FOR THAT GODDAMN 2022 COMEBACK
Without doubt, Federer is the most talented, beautiful, vesatile player ever to play tennis. Variety of shots he plays, is far more than combined of Nadal or Novak. His volley , stop volley, backend, forehand and dropshots are very pleasing to watch. To play for 20 over yrs with very high consistency is simply amazing. And above all, he is very humble, down to earth always easy going with his fans and media. We hardly read or hear ppl say bad things abt him. It is astonoshing to know that he has never retired half way in 1500 plus matches he has played. This shows how much he loves Tennis.. No other player has this effect on public past 50 yrs plus. No wonder he gets so much love, respect and attention from Reporters, players and public.. Even if Novak or Nadal wins 25 Slams, both can never match talent, skill, charishma, elegance and popularity of Federer. Novak may go down as Goat but Federer is Lion ( king who rules)..👌🏻

Plus his on and off court behaviour is immaculate..thats the main reason he got Stefen Edberg sportsmanship award almost 15 times and he is always and will be favourite among tennis lovers..

OMG. It is so good to see RF back. His tennis is just incomparable to current styles. He has so much variety, a wonderful net game (does not exist elsewhere in the Top 10), his backhand looks great. And he brings out the best in his opponents. Just watch Evans' game, how it's elevated to match with Federer's. Brilliant.

Fed showed perfect timing on both, backhand and forehand. Evans has a variaty of shots and Roger handled it well. Evans is not known for powerful shots, so we need to see Fed's reaction with fastest players. Good note for Roger on this match.

Yep, he took his time and had several disciplinary issues but I’m so glad he was able to knuckle down and produce consistent top 30 tennis. He always had it in him, just lacked the discipline.
At this age to still possess this level of talent is astounding. I wish Roger was eternal.

I love Rafa so much that I sometimes undermine how RF is the most talented tennis player I've ever seen. RF is simply the best but Rafa will always be my GOAT.
Fair comment and as always there's massive respect between federer and Rafa fans as both appreciate each other players tennis. As obviously im a fed fan. But i know for a fa t for at least the next 100+ years we will never see a better clay court p,player than Rafa. I also know Rafa would have won 4 or 5 Wimbledon's if not for federer and federer would have won 4 or 5 French open slams if not for Rafa. And federer would have won at least 2 of each Roma masters 1000s and Monte carlo masters 1000s which were the only two he never won but was in the final of both on at least two or more occasions but lost to Rafa. And i believe Rafa would have definitely won the Paris masters and Miami masters and the ATP finals if it were not for federer beating him in the finals of both Miami and the atp finals and knocking him out of paris masters a couple times. Respect dude :)

Evans was in crazy good form at the time. He beat World #1 Djokovic only one month after this. And Federer played no competitive tennis for 14 months coming into this.
This was such a huge win for Roger and such a delight for his fans. Shame the comeback only lasted a few months and didnt go past Wimbledon, but coming back at 39 after 14 months out is a challenge for anyone regardless of how fit you are. Father time sadly waits for no one and will always remain undefeated. Great effort for Roger to get the win here given all the circumstances. Even at 39 he was still very very good even if he wasnt what he was in his prime years and 2017.
