OMG, this is one of the best matches I've ever seen. Thanks for the upload. Good camera speed, so much better than ITTF, showing all those wonderful actions. Ripping, lightning-fast FH, BH drives, and long rallies are so amazing. I used to admire Chen Qi's style and wish he would become a legend but now see him coaching. Anyway, best luck to him. Brilliant match selection. Any more?

This could have gone Chen's way. He keeps up with Ma Long's power and pace - very good player. Great camera work on this match too!

What a tension in the 4th game !!! Both of them used the timeout around 16:16. Since then in that game, Ma Long chose to use his backhand all the time (seldom forehand), the choice proved right.

He was just one little bit below par behind the top CNT players in that era. Heard it's because he couldn't improve his inconsistent BH that finally led to an early exit from the world stage but he was a dream partner for doubles. Just like Xu Xin, another mighty lefty.
