Shit , you should have seen mine. I had 3 inches between the bracket and shock. The thing wouldn’t move anymore so I just welded it lol

If tig weld the joints so you get really good penetration then mig weld over the tig beads it looks like 1 bead

Put like a 4x4 plate on hump in a spot and say it’s a patch
Not allowed any plates, and any extra welding they will load you. Had a buddy get loaded last year without a chance to cut
You should paint that like a Ken block car One of the first videos of the year you said you might paint a car like his 🤷♂️
